    Edit: Got home checked my plate and noted they gave me 2 extra sides maybe because of all the hoopla and I appreciate that no matter what. Tasted the items I hadn’t had before and they were on par with how fantastic I knew the food was. This alone is making me want to give them another chance. L just have to make sure I don’t go with high expectations to get what I came for. Aight so here’s my review of all the experiences I’ve had with Mikkis. They catered us at work for Thanksgiving and it was Amazing! Loved everything and been looking forward to the Mac and cheese and dressing ever since. Not many places serve good dressing year round. So when I heard their food truck was coming through at work I a many others were excited. They canceled the truck multiple weeks in a row until finally last night they showed up. The food is cafeteria style so it should be quick right? Plate it and go? Well that’s not how it rolled and after standing in line for half and hour and multiple thing being out (there wasn’t even 20 people) early in I was lucky to get a Mac and cheese order from someone a few people ahead of me in line. There was even a menu being passed around but they didn’t let anyone know that many of the things on there they weren’t even serving. But anyway I let that go and decided LETS GO DOWN THERE! Placed my order around 1:30 for a pick up at 5 to go and ordered many items but I really wanted the dressing. It’s the only reason I went. I showed up about half an hour early to maybe get a drink and dessert I let them know I was there at 4:40. 4:55 (15 minutes after I let them know I was there and after watching multiple walk in orders leave with dressing they tell me….we are out of dressing. I express my displeasure with the same story I’m posting here and why and just canceled MY plate but kept the others I’d ordered. Since I only came for the dressing. I got my food 20 minutes later. Several walkin plates left while I waited for my 5 oclock preorder to be made and gone to me 15 minutes late. I’m disappointed because service like this is hard for me to give multiple chances and the food is so good! I wish everyone luck with their orders. Give them a try it will just be a long time before I attempt to drive 45 minutes here again.

    <NO issues I ALREADY GOT MY LIL $10 REFUND BACK BUH IF THE REVIEW IS NOT VALID YOU COULDN'T ADDRESS THE FACT OF THE SAVING OF LEFT OVER FOOD FOR THE NEXT DAY WHT A JOKE ... EXPECTING PPL TO PAY FULL PRICE FOR YESTERDAY FOOD IS AN OUTRAGEOUS STATEMENT...EVEN THE EMPLOYEES WERE DISGUSTED BY THE SOULLESS FOOD... ANYWAYS THE HEALTH DEPT HAS BEEN CONTACTED IF I CAN SAVE SUM PPL FROM PAYING FULL PRICE FOR A MEAL THAT THE FOOD TEMP WASN'T PROPERLY REDUCED IF AT ALL BEFORE STORAGE... IF AT ALL "I would prefer a refund to my original payment method, as I do not plan on returning to this merchant. Quality Issue / Refund Request ​"I am requesting a full refund for my order at Mikki's Soulfood Cafe. The food provided was completely unacceptable and did not meet basic quality standards. It was watered down to the point of looking like dog food and was not fit for human consumption. ​I was so disappointed with the quality that I actually returned to the store to give the food back because it was that outrageous. I have a photo of the meal attached to show just how poor the quality was compared to the advertised value. I would appreciate a refund to my original payment method." so outrageous I had to go back INTO THE STORE TO LET THEM KNOW THE EMPLOYEES PUT THE FOOD IN THE TRASH BC DATS WHERE IT BELONGS IT NOT LIKE THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY FOOD LEFT THEy DID THEY COULDN'T EVEN REPLACE IT AND THEY SAID THE LEFTOVER THEY HAD THEY usually STORE IT FOR THE NEXT DAY "THE next dayyy?¿!!" Whattt I LOST MY MY MIND BECAUSE HOWWWW & THEY SAY FRESH SOULFOOD FOOD RESTAURANT WHATTTTT OMG I'M BETTER OFF USING MY $10 TO ORDER SOMETHING MORE QUALITY & LIGHT & IM POSTING ON THEIR WEBSITE AND REPORTING TO THE HEALTH DEPT...lord help the first 20ppl who go to this restaurant in the morning expecting to spend and outrageous amounts on supposedly FRESH FOOD🗑 & this was from the TOO GOOD TO GO APP...DROVE 20+ MINS TO PICK UP FOOD NOT EVEN FIT FOR DOGS SUM DIABOLICAL SHII & I can't even add a photo to show yall the trash

    Food was horrible and smotherd chicken was red on the inside( not cooked throughly)didn't see this until i got home on the other side of town tried to get a refund but manager offered replacement of the horrible food..this place has changed tremendously for the worst...food use to be good..now it's horrible and the food is pricey...if you want a home cooked meal..cook at home this place is a total disappointment, disgusting and a waste of time standing in line and a waste of hard earned money..if I could give this place 0 stars I would and I will never come to this place again.. Update on managers response......I have gotten a refund on bad food like yours with a receipt over the phone..you know that food is horrible yourself...now like I said I won't be back...so let's just let that be it. The food is horrible..do better

    I was there yesterday 1-15-26 o my the food was so good and now I am making planes to come again this Sunday I told my friend and family this is a must go and it's so hard now to find a nice place to eat where you really enjoy the food I live I LaMarque and I don't drive that far but baby I am willing to pay someone to take me back

    I have been to Mikki's a number of times. Today the music was too loud and not to eat by with another person. Sounded like it was party music.I couldn't understand why there was no plates/silverware to eat with when you sat to eat in the restaurant. If I had ordered to go, I could understand plastic. For the prices, I feel we didn't get the quality that Mikk's has been known for. The service was poor. The food looked like it was from the night before and not appealing.
