- SSSamNov 4, 20251.0’m writing to report the worst experience I’ve ever had at one of your locations. I placed a mobile order at 12:50 a.m., and the restaurant’s posted closing time was 1:00 a.m. My food should have been ready before closing. I arrived at approximately 1:05 a.m., and the employee at the counter told me, “We’re closed, we don’t have any food.” When I explained that I had placed an online order, he simply said, “We’re not open right now,” and could not tell me how to cancel or get a refund—only saying, “I guess online.” That level of unprofessionalism and lack of knowledge is completely unacceptable. If your store cannot accommodate online orders close to closing time, the system should not allow customers to place them. In addition, the staff should be trained on how to handle these situations respectfully and provide clear guidance to customers. This was a highly disappointing experience, especially as this is the McDonald’s closest to my home. I will not be returning unless this issue is properly addressed. I expect a response regarding how to receive a refund for my order and what steps will be taken to prevent this from happening again.
