Mary’z Mediterranean claims a full-service bar, but what they actually serve is disrespect, favoritism, and sweltering Houston heat.
I asked for a Dark & Stormy and rosé—both were “unavailable”—while other guests the staff knew got rosé without issue. The Citrus Splash tasted like disinfectant, the Pinot Noir was mediocre, and the Mixed Shawarma was just okay. Air conditioning is nonexistent, so we had to sit outside in Houston heat. I lost my appetite, and if it weren’t for the mandatory large-group auto-tip, the server wouldn’t get a dime.
