The ribs are tender beyond belief, never dry, always fall-off-the-bone cooked to perfection. I hope Luka is there when you go. He’ll welcome you like a beloved friend. The smoked turkey and ham are both delicious. Go on Monday for a 2 meat plate special and you’ll have a hard time choosing only two. The day we went, Rodeo radio was playing, adding to the excellent Texas atmosphere. While spacious and clean, the restaurant conveys a throwback Texas vibe. Sure, meat is not a low budget item. Go for the top quality here.

This year we ordered meat by the pound and sides. The brisket was juicy with a nice smoke ring not overly fatty. The smoked turkey was juicy and delicious. Sausage at Lukas is my favorite sausage in the entire city of Houston. I look forward to brisket and eggs for breakfast Christmas morning.

The turkey, ribs omg everything was delicious! You can tell the food is made with care. Definitely worth the stop if you’re craving real Texas BBQ. We’ll be back!
