Seafood RestaurantFine Dining Restaurant
Welcome to Little’s Oyster Bar, located in the heart of Montrose. Our Executive Chef, Jason Ryczek, prepares decadent, hand-selected seafood dishes that are seasonally inspired and focus on freshness. Our menu offers a rotating selection of oysters, shellfish, and other offerings from the shore. Our caviar can be paired perfectly with your choice of cocktail, champagne, or vodka. At our bar, enjoy exciting craft cocktails and a wine list with a special focus on European wines and bubbles. Our Certified Sommelier has crafted a perfectly curated list of wines from Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, and more. As a tribute to our roots, we have repainted and restored the vintage exterior signage, which is a nod to the location’s opening in 1987 as Little Pappas Seafood House. Chef Ryczek takes every opportunity to elevate and surprise guests. The team at Little’s takes pride in presenting a concept to Houston that’s new and refreshing – fine dining but not stuffy. Extremely high quality in all areas, yet comfortable. Just like Houston. Come to Little’s Oyster Bar – we have a seat waiting just for you.

I would go back to Houston just to eat at this restaurant! The food and service were wonderful. The manager was so friendly, he came to our table and made wonderful recommendations and conversation. The soup was a dream and the salmon, perfectly cooked.

We had a very nice dining experience here for my wife’s birthday. The service is on point, the atmosphere is very loud so it’s a little hard to hear but I didn’t mind. Great lighting. Food was amazing good wine selection. I thought the prices were a little high but overall we’re paying for an experience.

This was our first visit but absolutely not our last! The food was outstanding - the freshest northeastern oysters, my delicious cioppino, and oh! the eggplant side! (…I don’t like eggplant, but this was magical). But beyond the food, our waiter/bartender, manager and more were all so attentive, like we were the most important and interesting guests in the restaurant. An experience like this is rare to achieve. Bravo!

I’ve driven past this place for almost a year and I’m actually offended I didn’t come in sooner. Hands down the best oysters and salmon I’ve ever had! Fresh, flawless, and paired with a cocktail? Unreal. This is officially my brothers’ and my oyster-and-drinks headquarters. Consider us locked in as regulars.

Went to celebrate our 15 year anniversary. First, the service was outstanding. We ran 30 minutes late for our reservation and when I called to ask if we could modify our reservation they had no problem helping us. When we arrived we were promptly seated and given a card wishing us a happy anniversary. What a nice detail. Our server Crystal was amazing! Hands down the best service we have ever had. Crystal was knowledgeable about the menu and made perfect recommendations based on our tastes. I had the cucumber drink and my husband had the peach pit drink. Absolutely delicious. We then started with the oysters on the half shell from the east coast and from the gulf. Loved that Crystal was able to connect the oysters to land knowledge — she was able to tell us about the history of oyster production in the gulf. Next she highly recommended the octopus and lobster gnocchi. We decided to have the octopus and baked oysters (we will need to return for the lobster gnocchi!) the octopus was 🔥🔥🔥. The highlight of the night. The baked oysters were also very good. Overall an amazing way to celebrate our anniversary—thank you littles for incredible food and an incredible experience. 🦪🐙😋
