  So I accidentally placed an order at the wrong Jimmy John’s (9079 Katy Fwy) instead of the 9778 Katy Fwy — totally my mistake, I own that. What I don’t own is the fact that no one apparently works at the 9079 location to answer the phone. I realized my mistake literally two minutes later (at 2:52 PM), called to cancel, and then called 9 more times. Twelve. Still no answer. Not once. Are there no employees? No phone? A ghost kitchen, maybe? I wasn’t even mad about placing the order wrong — I was mad that no one could be bothered to pick up the phone. Customer service 101: answer the phone. If this is what “Freaky Fast” means now, I guess it only applies to taking money, not to actually helping customers.

  I recently visited the Jimmy John’s at 9079 Katy Freeway, and I was thoroughly impressed by the service and the overall experience. From the moment I walked into the store, the staff greeted me warmly. The dining area was clean and inviting, making it a pleasant spot for a quick lunch or dinner. The highlight of my visit was the exceptional service provided by Maria and Alfredo. Both of them went above and beyond to ensure I received my order quickly and accurately. Maria was kind and attentive, making sure that every customer ahead of me was welcomed and taken care of with patience and a genuine smile. She helped me with menu questions and offered helpful suggestions. Alfredo was efficient behind the counter, expertly preparing sandwiches with care, and he even double-checked my customizations without hesitation. My sandwich was fresh, well made, and packed with flavor, thanks to the team’s attention to detail and speedy service. I also noticed Maria checking in on customers, making sure everyone was enjoying their meal—a rare and appreciated touch in a fast-food environment. Overall, this location stands out because of caring employees like Maria and Alfredo. Their positive attitudes and dedication make Jimmy John’s a reliable choice whenever I’m in the Memorial area. I will definitely return and encourage others to stop by for a great experience.
