I’m really disappointed with this store’s produce department. The fruits and vegetables are often not fresh, and I’ve even seen items with mold still on the shelves. It’s frustrating to shop somewhere and feel like you constantly have to inspect everything before buying. I hope the store improves their quality control and starts checking their produce more carefully, because customers deserve better. And even with the curbside fruits and veggies as well

This is the absolute worst HEB in TX. Going forward i will drive across the city if needed to avoid it, and so will anyone who values my opinion and holds HEB to the standard they're supposed to stand for.

i usually never leave bad reviews because sometimes i know people are just having a bad day but i visited this morning and went through the 25 items or less lane and a female employee was there to help bag the groceries. I had brought large reusable bags because I live in an apartment & it’s easier to haul them up that way. I asked her nicely if she could shove as many of them in the bags. she didn’t verbally respond just nodded and gave me a weird look..i’m not sure if she wasn’t supposed to bag my groceries like this was my first time using that lane…but regardless i start scanning items and sliding them down and she AGAIN gives me a weird look, so i start handing them to her. while she’s bagging my items she’s repeatedly staring at her apple watch smiling and then proceeds to talk to her other coworkers and when i mean she’s YELLING..she’s laughing and joking with them. all while just holding her hand out. completely disregarding me. i just felt really uncomfortable like somehow i’m annoying for even showing up in her lane. i work in customer service so this just felt completely off to me and i’d never do what she did. completely unprofessional. it really was just screaming teenage arrogance.

The floral department made visiting this HEB an unsavoury experience. After I picked a few bloom bunches to put together, I greeted two ladies standing at the floral counter and neither said a word, and when I asked if I could get the blooms wrapped, one of them handed me a price tag without saying a word while the other just stared. I asked if that was for the flowers or for the bouquet itself and she said it’s for everything. Usually, it’s a free service and the price tag was for $28 so naturally I took the flowers back and said no thank you, I can do that on my own and left. I decided then I won’t be buying my flowers at HEB. The two women working there made me feel very unwanted as a customer as soon as I walked in and were emanating ‘mean girl’ vibes. HEB is held to higher standards because it’s not Walmart.. but now it seems like they’ve been hiring Walmarts ex employees. Disappointing to say the least and will be going elsewhere for my weekly floral arrangements.

I was just at HEB buying some items for the week. When I went to pay I had a unfortunate experience that I believe does not represent the values of HEB. Our cashier was Jean an older lady with a horrible attitude. I only took 100 dollars with me and had to leave some items behind because we went above our budget and Jean had a horrible attitude because we had to return items and made rude faces and said out load “they are leaving items behind” for no reason. She then said again they are leaving refrigerated items out load and the bagger which was a young man that was very courteous and polite just said okay. I recommend management check in with Jean and retrain her on customer service. Our time stamp from our receipt is 8:49pm
