    DO NOT ORDER CUSTOM CAKES !!!!! I asked for a GOLD cake on 11/15 and the lady at the bakery who took my order put down gold cake with shimmer. When I pick it up 11/22 10:00am I get this ugly mustard yellow cake. The lady at the bakery asks me if everything is okay and in my mind I’m like this is not what I asked for. She said they couldn’t make gold colored buttercream nor did they have any shimmer. WHY WAIT UNTIL I PICK IT UP TO SAY THAT?!?! They had my number and decided to make a cake how they wanted to. I’m so disappointed because it was for my birthday and something so simple they couldn’t do. I want my money back for this awful cake.

    IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD! I love HEB and have worked there for HEB for over 13 years- current. But this was by far the WORSE experience I’ve had with ASMs & Front End Management. While explaining to them that an item (a 4 pack of yogurt) was left at the store during the bagging of my items (which is extremely common). They continued to tell me that my Apple Pay would not work and couldn’t be used to look the item up and that if I didn’t have the receipt there was nothing they could do. After waiting and going through 2 managers they finally decided to give it a go and to their surprise guess what- it worked. It searched the item using my card on Apple Pay and I was finally able to get my item. As the ASM was handing me the receipt she was dumbfounded with nothing left to say but, ”what bank do you have because it normally doesn’t work?”- DO BETTER. Not only that, the front end manager decides to attempt to process this transaction in an express lane at 7am with the line backed instead of opening up the next register to handle this cashless manner. What a poor decision from leadership- DO BETTER!

    I’m trying to figure out why the watermelon bowls ALWAYS taste old. I always have to remind myself to go to the heb on Buffalo Speedway for watermelon bowls , but sometimes I find myself coming to this one on mcgregor for other things bc I’m nearby. Sometimes I forget and get a watermelon bowl from here and it is ALWAYS OLD, RUBBERY and tasteless. Please do better because I NEVER encounter this issue from Buffalo Speedway location. I just had to throw the whole watermelon bowl in the garbage. Disgusting!

    I shop here 5 or more times a day for my Bakery everyday I spend money here and today I was escorted out by police & Manager Jose for me getting cash backs. Jose was rude didn’t ask me to stop before telling me I can’t come back no more . I am confused as to why I was treated like a criminal. I got cash backs from my business account my hard earned money . I also was not allowed to get the items I purchased for the cash backs.

    Usually HEB goes above and beyond when there's a misunderstanding or an inconvenience. This one does not. Instead the cashier and manager said it is what it is and should learn to read the fine print. Did you know their digital coupons are a one time usage? I didn't until today.
