- SSSheila6 days ago3.0This has always been one of my favorite restaurants for many years. I know it has changed ownership, and it is definitely not the same place. Food is not the same. Smaller portions and extremely expensive. $23 for a chicken pasta dish. Service was excellent , atmosphere is the same but i wont be going back.

- KAKevin AndersenFeb 10, 20261.0this was our first visit to grotto ristorante and it did not go well. for the positives, the atmosphere was nice. we struggled with the service primarily from not getting the server's attention much during the dinner. it seemed to take a while after we were seated to get our drink orders. she did not seem engaged in her role and did not even smile once. I would think a simple welcome to the restaurant. I'm happy you're here or something along that line would be good, but we seem to be more of a bother than anything else. The food was mostly disappointing. the appetizers were okay. the main dishes were not good. of the five of us at the table my wife and I became ill after eating the fish dishes the next day. that was very disappointing especially for the amount of money we spent that night. I will not be returning.
