I bit that burger (bacon cheeseburger, ketchup, mustard and grilled peppers onion and mushrooms) and that was all she wrote. I never felt so full and satisfied. That was one helluva first experience. And the staff? Absolute gems. Love these ladies.

You probably only need to order one order of fries as they give you a lot. I knew better and let my wife and daughter go ahead and order an order of fries each with mine and you have like a brown paper bag full of fries. And they are good. Hand cut, cooked in real peanut oil. Honest to goodness real fries. Only two things that knocked a half star off: service and atmosphere. They forgot the bacon on my burger and my wife's and it was really very cold in the restaurant as I think the air conditioner was still on and had gotten chilly outside. So the vent was blowing cold air right on us. But bonus points for having a Coca-Cola Freestyle. I got to try Red Cream Soda by Barq's and it's kind of like a Big Red but not really. It's pretty good. It was interesting.

The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. In Canada, our Poutine Gravy condiment also contains gluten. All of our sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs and the veggie sandwich, are available without a bun via our wrap or bowls.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
Also, give those leftover fries a try as hash browns, home fries, or even as the filling in an omelet.
