I ordered an annihilator with soft top and it was great. The customer service provided by Miles and the others on shift was amazing.

We were in line well before closing. 15 minutes. There were two cars in front of us, and the girl at the window sat and talked to the car in front of us after they got their coffee for five minutes. Then we pulled up to the window right at ten after waiting in line and the girl was like “sorry, we’re closed.” I work in the service industry and I KNOW that isn’t allowed. Insane.

3 stars because I LOVE DB!!! Let me just start with that. I email corporate every so often just to let them know how great their coffee, service and team members are. I never had any issues at any of their stores. I’ve visited almost every location in Houston, Dallas just about half, even Florida. However, today was a bit different. I drove off at 9:50am. So this blankets the entire crew that was there during my visit. I’m just mentioning this because I’ve never seen it anywhere, but I figured it happens sometimes so no big deal. No. I should have went with my gut in that moment now thinking of it. I, along with 3 other cars pulled up as the employee was taking the order ahead. It was seconds apart but we piled before she could even go back in. Didn’t bother to take our orders and just went inside resulting in a bottleneck. Why I mention this aside from being in the food industry and having my own service-based business. I received an email from corporate not even two weeks ago and it’s similar to what I’ve always said when I was a director of ops. “We may serve food, but we are in the people business. We build relationships with our communities first.” The email was along those lines and it truly made me happy. The crew here, I’m not too sure of their performance today. On top of creating a bottleneck that could have very well been prevented but also failed the second layer of service. I ordered at the window, but the entire team was eating pizza singing “I’m talmbout innniiit” 🤨 WHILE MAKING DRINKS. That in itself is #1 rule in food industry and is unsanitary. I’m talking about CHEWING over the drinks and NOT washing their hands. Still while serving the drinks and dancing a bit. And trust me if there’s no work to be done or customers to serve my team knew they could dance, eat and chill. Most certainly not the case here. I think it was the manager that advised the employee who originally took my order to inform me of the refund process. I know it but I also heard her say it. If she’s the manager, that was supposed to be coming from YOU directly. I heard you within earshot range because you both were literally right there at the window. You’re the one who was waving pizza in the air while rapping. The name on the receipt is Ruby S, but I also know it can be a shared registered so I don’t really know who’s who. I do know service was not what DB is known for. And I say things to let you know that I’m very understanding, relaxed and love when a crew can have fun amongst each other and their guests. No one at this location understands or practice proper hygiene restaurant codes, so I requested a refund. Will never visit this location again. Gotta stand out as a store on 1960!!!! Im sure you understand where I’m going with that one. Do better team! DB is reputable and I want to see them go so far. I even want Yall to be your greatest selves. We can’t forget the root and purpose in this industry. It’s more than just serving products.

I made a review on the location on stuebner. That location put a bad taste in my mouth. And so did this one. My favorite location is the one on I-45 near target. That location is ALWAYS so nice with accuracy and they’re SUPER FAST! So if you want a good location GO TO THAT ONE!! Unfortunately that location is no longer in my route for work. So I’ve been coming to this one since the summer. The crew in the summer was AMAZING. Idk what happened to everyone who was working the summer time!!! Maybe they were seasonal or something idk? THE NEW CREW’S ATTITUDES ARE DISGUSTING!!!!! I’m guessing they just hire anyone. But everyone there seems new and like they hate their jobs. I’m always being rushed to place my order. And the energy coming from the employees is always negative!! I used to chitchat with the workers but now it’s clear they are not in the mood to converse. The line is also ALWAYS so long and they move entirely slow. Assuming because everyone is new. So if you’re in a rush , don’t bother showing up. I unfortunately will just have to quit going to Dutch and revert back to Starbucks.
