It also happened to me and had to go inside to be ignored for another couple of minutes. Busy or not they need to have a better system for customers waiting. The deer in the headlights frozen stare without at least a "we are sorry we have been really busy, thank you for your patience" really irrated me. I guess this store likes losing customers.

They told me the delivery had several deliveries and that I should wait 10 to 20 more minutes. A second hour passed, and I contacted the store again, where they responded that the delivery had returned the order because they had called me on my cell phone and I hadn't answered. This is totally false. They never called me when I demanded the order. They told me I had to receive it at the office because the delivery couldn't reach my front door. I told them I have a three-month-old baby and couldn't go out so late at night to get to the office, and they told me that in that case, if I wanted a refund, I had to arrange for a neighbor to come and receive the pizza at the office at 10 p.m. A cold pizza that cost over $20, and more than two hours of waiting, and a total disappointment. Ordering delivery with you.
