We went to the galleria location last night for New Year’s Eve dinner and I expected more than what we received. The valet started it off being sort of rude when we pulled up and not really wanting to park our vehicle, maybe it wasn’t nice enough, but after that we sat at the bar and it took 30 minutes to get our drinks , not that the bar was busy they just took their time getting us our drinks. The two couples that came after us got their drinks immediately. My girlfriend ordered the crab cakes and they were partially cold, but she didn’t want to send it back because she was very hungry and didn’t want the hassle. My bacon appetizer gave me diarrhea. Very disappointed in the food and service. I should not have paid that $175 bill for a piece of bacon, a crab cake, salmon, baked potato, sidecar and an old fashion. One more thing, the receipt didn’t have my items listed it only had a the charge on my card . Sounds and felt weird.

Food was fine. They brought out our crab cake appetizers at the same time as a the Caesar salad so that was a bit weird. The server wasn't super friendly but she got better as we ordered more wine. Biggest issue- the WINE MENU IS INACCURATE AND POORLY ORGANIZED. I'd give it ONE STAR. 1) It groups cabs, Bordeaux style blends and other reds like syrahs ALL in "cab and blends section". NO ONE ELSE DOES THAT. THAT'S NOT HOW YOU DO A WINE MENU. Ridge Monte Bello and Saxum are noted to be Napa when NEITER is. Nothing denotes that Saxum is a Syrah blend. 2) Menu is 10 point font. Neither the somm nor my husband could clearly read it. 3) The sommelier, if she was one, was terrible. She was zero help. I told her we liked Dyer and Diamond Creek Vineyards (both cabs) and we like big bold reds. I told her we were looking at Lokoya, Pulido-Walker, Roy, Rudd, and Saxom. ALL OF THESE were in the cab/blends section but it turned out Saxon is NOTHING like Lokoya or the others I mentioned. She should have said "well, Saxom is in a syrah blend so totally different from the others just so you know". No, instead she suggested Saxom since it was hard to find. She made no mention of where it was from or what kind of flavors it hand. She couldn't tell me anything about the Lokoya since she didn't know it, which really is bizarre. There are only a handful of vineyards in the Diamond Mountain AVA and I know them (not a somm) so she should have know that (as a claimed somm). When we got the wine I noticed it tasted a bit off, a bit tangy for a cab blend but I thought maybe it needed more time. My husband debated sending it back because maybe it was corked. When I finally looked at the back of the bottle it was a Pasa Robles Syrah, NOT a Napa cab. We ordered the Lokoya and just poured the Saxom back in the bottle to take back to our hotel room (my husband drank it later). There is also the issue that some of the wines are overpriced way more than what one would expect at a restaurant. For instance, the Staglin Salus vintage they had retails for about $110 and they priced it at $500; the Staglin Estate retails for $350 and they priced int at $750. Seems like they screw you over for ordering the cheaper wine. The French Bordeaux part of the list is weird- there were cheap bottles and $1500 bottles but almost nothing in between. I don't even care that they got stingy and have no more NYE balloon drops. At least have solid (and ACCURATE) wine menu at a steakhouse. I love wine. I love finding new cabs and bordeaux-style reds at restaurants. This was the most disappointing wine experience I've ever had in any restaurant. And yes, I did already do a feedback form for Landry's Inc. I ran out of room on the Landry's feedback form, but if you are out there Landry's feedback peoplele, feel free to contact me and send me a PDF of the Del Frisco's wine list and I'll be happy to fix it for you.

Valet parking is 13 bucks + tips.
The ambiance is very relaxing and not noisy.
Service was great as well. The bread was so good, it reminds me of buttery Hawaiian rolls. The side mushroom is soooo gooood!!!
Great experience and will come back for special occasion again!

This place is an experience — the kind of atmosphere you want to return to again and again. It’s not just a Christmas dinner, not just delicious food, not just attentive service. It’s a feeling — of comfort, elegance, and that quiet luxury you crave in the middle of a loud, busy city.
Every detail here seems thoughtfully created to make you feel taken care of. The lighting, the music, the way the staff treats you as if you’re the only table that matters — it all comes together so naturally, so effortlessly, that you catch yourself relaxing the moment you sit down.
In a city that never slows down, this restaurant feels like a beautiful pause. A place where the noise fades, the world softens, and you can just enjoy — the meal, the moment, the company.
Highly recommend this spot for anyone who values atmosphere as much as flavors. It’s luxury without the pressure, comfort with elegance, and a place where every visit feels a little bit special.
