This is the second time my reservation was downgraded upon my arrival. Since moving to Houston my husband and I have loved this place but I absolutely refuse to dine somewhere im consistently being made to eat outside when tables are very clearly available. (As I heard the couple in front of me WITHOUT a reservation received) The whole thing has just felt disrespectful

Ordered the aged rib eye, and man was that good. Each bite was perfect and seasoned throughout! The lobster Mac is a staple for us and didn’t disappoint. And the butter cake and icecream is a great way to close out a great meal. The service has always been great as was this time with Phillip as our head waiter and the staff orchestrated behind him. Cocktails, wine, everything was spot on. Someone asked me if we were going to try somewhere new. So glad we returned to our tried and true.

Second time eating here on Saturday, and absolutely amazing steaks! Got the Tomahawk and it was maybe one of the best I’ve ever had. AND the chef will custom cajun style & blackened for me. My wife and I are making this a must eat when we come to Houston. Service is great, never over packed, and also the fried calamari appetizer with chili sauce is fantastic. I eat at a lot of steakhouses, and this DFDE is Top shelf!

We came here to celebrate our 3-year wedding anniversary, and while the service was amazing, I was really disappointed with the experience overall.
My husband ordered a dish that was around $145 plus an entrée, and I ordered one that was about $90. We also had a few drinks. His meal came out perfect, but mine was not prepared the way I asked. This wasn’t the server’s fault he was actually very kind and professional , but my dish took about 30 minutes longer to come out.
Since I didn’t want to sit and watch my husband eat, I ended up sharing his meal and side dishes. When my food finally arrived, I just decided to take it home. For a place with such great reviews and high prices (our total bill was about $500), I expected more. I wasn’t asking for a free meal, but I did think they could have at least adjusted the price of my dish since it was so delayed.
Overall, the waiter was great, but the kitchen really let us down. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

Flew out from Colorado for the Broncos game and SO GLAD I chose this place for dinner tonight ! I made a reservation ahead of time and I’m grateful they accommodated me for what I asked for . My server was Philip and he was cheery and very sweet after a long day of flying and traveling. He was also very knowledgeable about the menu which helped my decision-making and I’m really grateful for that as well! I had the bone and filet mignon with added lobster tail and broccolini. Everything was 10 out of 10. Really grateful I came here. I’ve also been sober so I was grateful to see the accommodation for nonalcoholic cocktails on the menu! Excellent service all around
