  I was skeptical about trying Dakar Street Food at the Blodgett Food Hall, but they completely proved me wrong. The quality and flavor actually blew the main location away. The dibi chicken had a great amount of meat not mostly bone, and while the jollof rice was just as good as the original, the onions and plantains were way better. Really glad I gave this spot a chance.

  DO NOT!!! And I mean DO NOT go to these people. They are beyond unprofessional. I placed my order 11:53, they texted me stating my order was in progress . I waited in the parking lot for an hour and half with no text update on my order. Mind you, my order was suppose to be ready by 12:18. Just for me to go and speak to their cooking staff and he tells me that my order has been canceled. No text update, no one answered when I had the establishment multiple times. Wasted my time, money and energy. I’ve learned my lesson and this is not an establishment I would want my friends or family putting money into. I hope you don’t either

  I’ve doordashed the oxtails twice now. The first time was months ago and the second time was last night. Great flavor but you guys need to do better. I’m giving 2 stars because it’s embarrassing how little meat you give in a meal. I thought it was bad the first time, but I literally was only given 3 small oxtails with hardly any meat on them. Seriously there was more carrots, potatoes and broth than anything else. I don’t appreciate paying over $20 to still be hungry. If you want a good, filling oxtail meal go elsewhere.

  The Dakar street food is my favorite restaurant at Blodgett. The ginger drink is a must!

  I ordered the Poisson Braise and they told me it would be ready in 20 minutes. I waited for over 50 minutes and there were no updates and I did not receive my order. Meanwhile, the other people I was with got their orders at the time that was estimated. I waited all the way until closing time and never received my order or an update.
