I ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans To-Go. The staff were really attentive and polite but I really can’t say anything positive about the protein, it was extremely tough and dry. The mashed potatoes were good and the green beans were salty. I didn’t have time to go back and complain about it because I was on lunch break.

This place was okay. I can say the it is very clean and pretty inside and they play good music. I personally will not be coming back it was to expensive for nothing all sides are extra and it’s $7 for a side of fries and like $19 for just 6 wings I just don’t see the point

I ordered the blackened Salmon, dirty rice and collard greens. Appetizers were the spinach artichoke dip & Southwest egg rolls! All the food was on point; especially the collard greens. Great vibes & drinks. The service was great, but just a bit slow. Especially since it wasn't busy. I would totally go back.

First time and last time going. the food wasn't as i expected for $51 rib eye steak, it was burn on top and raw on the bottom, was baked instead of grilled. flavorless, rubbery and hard to chew, greenbeans salty and old, seems that is frozen and put it the microwave. my G.F wasn't able to eat anything. we told the waiter it seems he didn't care, didn't even bring a manager to let him know about the situation. I ordered eggs, I asked for sunny side up over medium but they were rare o undercooked, the sausage to salty. I'm a Sous-chef, my step-dad is a chef I learned from him and also experienced working on steak houses such as Perry steaks house, salt grass etc. I hope a manager read my review and do a Q.C on the food they are selling. if you going to pay $51.00 for a 12oz rob eye steak make sure you're selling top quality ingredients. I'm not going back for sure and do not recommended. I apologize for the review but unfortunately is the only way to improve if you're willing to stay in business for many years to come. Rent and insurances are going to keep going up. so take care of your customers is a most. build a customer satisfaction base so people goes back. I always go back to saltgrass steak house good experience. Eventhough I can cook better than many cooks in Houston. to many room for improvements in this restaurant.

This was our first time coming here and we were pleasantly surprised. We had hrunch. The atmosphere was electric, the decorations were very nice, the drinks were AMAZING and that cornbread was DELICIOUS!!! I had the chicken fried chicken with greens and fried okra...The chicken and greens was so good. The okra...not so much AND it was cold when it reached the table! Hubs had meatloaf with Greens and green beans and he gave it a thumbs up. The kid had chicken fried steak with okra, fries and an additional side of Mac n Cheese. He liked all but the Mac n cheese. It was kind of bland but had PLENTY of pepper. We spent over $100 for three people. Our waitress(es) were very sweet and served us with smile(s). We were apart of a birthday group so gratuity was added. All and all I will visit again to try some of the other items.
