  Our server, Ricky, was AWESOME! Very attentive to our every need even though he had multiple tables- food was better than the last time here (2+ years ago)- steak upgrade WAS an upgrade! Grade "A-" for decent Italian fare. Grade "A+++" for Ricky (FM 1960 location)

  Olivia, bar tender at Cypress Pkwy/1960 location, is a very competent,dedicated,outgoing, friendly restaurant service professional. You folks want to have employees like her. I say this as a former Pres, CEO, Board Chairman...employees of her caliber are tough to find.....and retain.

  This experience was so bad I could not even wait til tomorrow...My family and I (party of 4) decided to eat out for New Years Eve at Carrabbas. We made reservation for 4 ppl at 5:40pm. We thought this is early enough to get decent service. From the moment we got there until the minute we left, it was nothing but disappointing! The young hostess who attended us looked scared whenever we asked her a question. We were told although we had a reservation that we would have to wait 20 min. So we sat at the bar and were finally seated in the main dining room. No one came to attend us for several minutes until a short hispanic older man took our appetizer order. He was not our server. He said he would get our server; the server never came. It took a while to get our appetizers but we saw it was kind of busy but not too bad. After waiting for a while again, we waved down the same original short hispanic older man who said he would come back to take our order. He never returned. Finally, we got a brunette older woman who took our order. We waited over 45 minutes for our food; maybe longer but I lost track of the time. I finally had to wave down someone else and this younger hispanic big guy said he would check on it. Finally after more waiting, we got our food. IT WAS COLD. At this point we were done with this horrible service. Not once did any of our 4 DIFFERENT servers come to ask if everything was ok. NEVER! I finally waved down ANOTHER waiter to ask for the check and this younger black woman was not very friendly but when she gave us our check, I guess she was trying to get a tip because she finally acknowledged how long we waited. I don't believe we ever had an "official" waiter and were just helped randomly the entire time our party of 4 was there. Thus, I left a very meager tip accordingly. I will not be returning...what a shame! The food we ordered were the Chicken Bryan (with the wrong sauce) along with a very over-cooked steak and messaluna COLD pasta. Tsk, tsk! Seems like the staff was not trained at all. I know the waiter taking the order from the table next to us took 20 minutes for just 4 people. We had enjoyed the food and the atmosphere in earlier visits but the service has gone down. (I was told by one of the staff that they were not prepared for the big rush that happened at 6pm and that it was unexpected. Wow) We arrived at 5:43 and did not leave until 7:45pm. This was 20 minutes worth of eating and the remainder of the time was just waiting!

  Carrabba’s at 5440 FM 1960 within Champion Forest Plaza truly set the bar high and delivered an experience that was nothing short of amazing for the children in our 2025 Family Alliance Network’s Winter Around the World Therapeutic Program. They had the honor of opening the very first stop of our global journey—Italy—and what a phenomenal start it was! From the moment the food arrived, the aroma alone captured everyone’s attention. The penne pasta, paired perfectly with rich, flavorful sauce, tender, savory meatballs, and warm Italian bread, was absolutely delicious. Every bite felt comforting, authentic, and made with care. What made this experience even more special was how much joy it brought to our therapeutic programming children. Watching their faces light up as they enjoyed such a beautifully prepared Italian meal was priceless. Carrabba’s didn’t just provide food—they helped create a moment, a memory, and an experience that supported learning, culture, and connection. The quality, freshness, and flavor were exceptional, and the generosity and thoughtfulness behind the meal did not go unnoticed. Carrabba’s truly embodied what it means to serve with heart, and we are beyond grateful for their support in helping us kick off our program in such a meaningful way. If you’re looking for a place where amazing food meets genuine care and unforgettable experiences, Carrabba’s on Champion is an absolute must. We cannot recommend them highly enough—and we are already looking forward to our next visit!   Christmas Dinner with family made great by Carrabba's. We were having such a great time that we didn't get a single photo of our food! We were fortunate enough to have Brandon as our server. He is such a polite, attentive young man that absolutely made our dinner memorable! He was funny, gave great suggestions, chatted each one of us up and we really enjoyed spending the evening at Carrabba's because of his amazing service. We had cocktails, starters, salads, entrees and each and every person raved about their selection and how great that Brandon was to our table. Carrabba's has always been a family favorite and thanks to Brandon, it was extra special! Thank you!
