  The service was excellent also it’s very beautiful outside. The food was not the greatest, ultimately that’s why we go to a restaurant. I tried the red snapper and it was lacking flavor.

The fact that this establishment has been running for nearly 90 years is incredible, and you can truly feel that legacy the moment you arrive. There’s a timeless, classic steakhouse presence that reflects decades of consistency and excellence. The food absolutely lives up to that reputation. The steaks were cooked perfectly with a beautiful crust and precise temperature. The sides were balanced and refined, and the overall execution felt elevated and intentional. A sincere thank you to Frank, our attendant, for delivering attentive and professional service throughout the evening. He made everything feel effortless and welcoming. And a special thank you to Elena, the sommelier. Her wine pairing elevated the entire experience. Her knowledge and thoughtful recommendation added depth to the meal and made the evening even more memorable. Between the remarkable 90-year history, exceptional food, and high-level service, Brenner’s continues to prove why it remains one of Houston’s iconic dining institutions.

  The fine steak dining the way it should be done. All the food tastes excellent. I had the 6oz fillet with exotic mushrooms and Cognac peppercorn sauce. Ruby our waitress was attentive and quick with our orders. Make sure you order an extra carrot cake to take home.

  Amanda was absolutely perfect! We went to celebrate our birthdays and she provided excellent recommendations. The food was perfectly prepared in addition to the lovely service. Can’t wait to return!

  Excellent service, great drinks and absolutely delish food. Hubby and I were celebrating our Anniversary, had a few drinks at the bar to start. Enjoyed great conversation with bar tender and other guests. Then had a fantastic meal of Filet and crab cake with Brussel sprouts and baked potato. Of course, finished with dessert and coffee. Wonderful experience, thank you Brenners for making my evening special. Highly recommend this restaurant!
