Absolutely terrible!
Barely put any salmon on my Philadelphia- i can see rice through. You had to put your work into to make it THAT thin? So customer gats nothing? Is that the way you make profit? Well , good luck selling rolled rice for 20$.
I used to be regular on Doordash , but never again.
I dont even going argue with you guys, you got your deserved zero star. Good luck.
If you’re looking for top-tier sushi, Blue Sushi Sake Grill is hands down the best. The sushi is always incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and packed with flavor. Every roll tastes like it was made with real care and high-quality ingredients.
The service is consistently great — friendly, attentive, and efficient. Even when they’re busy, the food comes out fast, which makes the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.
And their happy hour? Easily the best around. The menu has amazing deals without sacrificing quality, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some of the best sushi in town.
If you love fresh sushi, great service, and unbeatable happy hour specials, this is your place.

My partner and I went to Blue Sushi on Valentine’s Day around 3 p.m., before the dinner rush. The restaurant wasn’t busy (maybe 30% full). I used to work in hospitality, so I’m always cognizant of that. We stood at the front for about five minutes and weren’t greeted by any of the three staff members standing there literally right in front of us (one of whom seemed to be a manager). The manager and one of the servers seem to be having a disagreement so at that moment, I just chalked it up to that.
When someone finally acknowledged us, the tone was dismissive. We were told they “couldn’t seat us,” but that we could sit at the bar where there is open seating. We walked to the sushi bar in the back and sat down, only to have another server tell us we couldn’t sit there at that bar either. Prior to the server telling us to come move, we saw the same gentleman from the front telling him to tell us to move….
At that point we were already frustrated. We went to the front bar, asked for the space to be wiped down, and tried to move past it. Instead, after I mentioned to the same manager that the customer service felt lacking, the bartender made a comment implying we were going to complain about sitting there too. Not sure what that meant but it seems like she didn’t want to wait on us.
Between the bartender’s remark and the manager’s dismissive tone, we ended up getting up and leaving. It was Valentine’s Day and we’ve honestly never felt so unwelcome at a restaurant before. We are huge foodies and frequent so many of Houston’s amazing restaurants and have never experienced anything like this.
I had heard great things about Blue Sushi, which makes this even more disappointing. Unfortunately, we won’t be back. Thankfully, we ended up going to KA to grab a quick sushi roll before our activity and subsequent dinner reservation and had phenomenal service and an amazing happy hour.

Greetings,
I typically enjoy a Sunday happy hour, however, this time was different. Seated outside at 2:30 and didn’t get waited on until 2:55. Hostess came out and said “she forgot to send a waiter.” I would’ve been ok with 10 minutes (even that’s very generous) but nearly 30 is absolutely terrible. Food still tasty, but I was expecting my bill to be compensated greatly, not just 2 items comped (house salad&truffle salmon). I spoke directly to the manager but the bill still came out to 41.41. I could’ve easily left but decided to stay. Wait staff has gotten lackadaisical as I have been coming here for over a year at this point. If I’m going to spend money at this establishment, professionalism and understanding from customers should be priority.
4 adults and a baby come for dinner right before 6. The hostess clearly cringes at the word baby and informs us they are fully booked and cannot seat us. We looked around and the restaurant and hostess stand was empty plenty of open tables. No other parties waited to be seated and very quiet. The booth section right next the hostess stand had all empty tables except for one. This was the third restaurant I had ever been to with my baby and felt very discriminated against which does not help my postpartum anxiety. A lot of work to bring baby out of the house, find parking at MKT, and try to enjoy some time out of the house. Hard for me to imagine spending my money there again! Right after I had my baby this was the first meal I did takeout from to eat sushi - Sad to have one of my favorite restaurants ruined from such a bad experience! Clearly not a family friendly establishment. Went to Miyako down the street and got seated immediately with no issues!
