But we still don't get the chance to eat here as much as we want. So you know where we had to go for someone’s b-day. Fried pickles have been a mainstay on our order since Bird Haus’ Underground Hall days, but we’ve been exploring the menu beyond their tenders basket (aka, chicks box). No regrets branching out. Their chicken sandwiches and wraps are bomb combos of soft, crunchy, hot, cold, sweet, and sour. The wet and dry rubs next-level each bite of chicken; don’t sleep on their dry citrus heat or wet mango habanero. You should come hungry for their sandwiches or wraps. Their sandos are stacked like that, so consider a fork and knife if you want every layer in each bite. Even stuffed, we said a shameless 'yes' to loaded fries. They're the sandwich/wrap deconstructed onto crinkle-cut spuds, every topping accounted for (except for slaw, and there's cheese sauce, but you get me.). The plan was to take them home for a midnight snack. They barely made it past the front door. Guess we'll have to come back for another birthday. Anyone celebrating this weekend? We'll toast our first bite to you.
