This was easily one of the most frustrating Chipotle experiences I’ve had and it started with them messing up the brown rice not once, but twice.
I came in for dinner and was told they were out of brown rice. I said no problem and that I’d wait. Then I was told it would take about 15 minutes, which I agreed to. After waiting close to 25 minutes, I was told the rice was finally ready… only to immediately hear that they had messed up the batch again. At that point, I couldn’t believe it.
I do appreciate the honesty in not serving bad food, but after that long of a wait—with a line backed up to the door—it felt like there was no sense of urgency or organization.
What made things worse was seeing employees pause their work to chat and joke with coworkers while customers were clearly waiting on key items like chicken and rice. There’s nothing wrong with being friendly, but when it’s busy and people are waiting, the focus should be on getting orders out.
This isn’t my first off experience here, but it’s by far the worst.
I ended up leaving and driving to the Chipotle on Heights Blvd, and the difference was night and day. That location was efficient, fully stocked, and had great customer service. If you’re deciding between locations, I’d strongly recommend going to the Heights location instead.
I hate to leave a review like this, but this location really needs to get it together. The wait time was ridiculous for what should be a fast casual spot. I stood there way longer than expected with no real sense of urgency from the staff.
On top of that, the service just felt off. No communication, no acknowledgment, just a slow moving line and frustrated customers. It shouldn’t take this long to get a simple order.
Chipotle is usually solid, but this experience missed the mark completely. Hoping they can improve because this wasn’t it.

So this is my time 5th going. And the day after i ate my burrito bowl i got sick. They undercook the meat; also idk what this guys name was but he very rude and kept rushing me thru the line. Ive seen other complaints abut the same guy and i think thats who everyone is talking about. Work on cooking the meat and customer service.

Me and another guest waited 20 minutes just to be served while I was waiting with the guest. I noticed there were three people working and none of them were willing to serve me or the guest. One lady decided she was only gonna focus on putting the ice in the soda machine. We made eye contact a couple of times. It was almost, as if she knew she had to help me and/or the guest. But, felt putting ice was more important. The other lady decided it was time for her to clean and put stuff away. She made eye contact with us as well. Then there was another younger male. He was just walking around talking and making jokes with his co workers. While I’m not against having a conversation with your colleagues. I do find it troubling to see that three people are REFUSING to serve the guest. I have no issue with this location. I have never ever encountered an issue with this location. I believe if the manager was focused on running the place and providing a good guest experience . This review wouldn’t be here! While, you might say “They were busy, please be patient” Lol there was only two people in line and two guest in the dining room. I am not here to teach anyone how to run an establishment. But I do believe in providing a welcoming environment for the next guest to come. The least any of them can do was to acknowledge us and let us know that they are in the middle of shift change or cleaning up for the next shift. I don’t think any of us would of have mind. But, we were just there watching them do these tasks. With no one to serve us. These are issues that should not have occurred. The whole point of a fast food or fast casual restaurant is to get in and get out. People have things and places to be. Having three people doing different tasks is absolutely insane to me. One person could’ve paused and take our orders while the other assists with whatever tasks they’ve been assigned to. The only helpful person was the gentleman that was on the grill and I asked him.” what’s the ETA on this and when we will be served? “ He pointed at the lady who was to be serving us. The lady decided it was was a time for her to laugh so she laughed and left to start cleaning the area up again. What is funny about this? I had to be back in my office at a certain time. However, She finally told the gentleman I’ll be with you one moment and decided to clean If I were to give this place a rating for service, it’d be 1 out of 10. I’ll be checking out another Chipotle location. Which sucks! Cause I genuinely liked this location and it was close to my house. I hope the owner or manager sees this and makes some swift changes. This is unacceptable and unfair to the guests to come.
Very disappointing experience. The customer service was unorganized and unprofessional. I had to wait in line for my order, only for it to be given to another customer, and then was asked to repeat my order instead of the issue being properly handled. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning. I of course left and didn’t spend anything. Hire people who know how to work the cashier.
