Our party was seated in a side area, which made hearing each other a real plus.

If there were a Hall of Fame for servers, Dylan at Bayou City would have his own wing. We came in with three young daughters, which, let's be honest, is basically showing up to a restaurant with a small tornado warning in effect. Dylan didn't even flinch. From the moment we sat down, he was warm, funny, and made every single one of us feel like we were the most important table in the room. He was attentive without being hovering, kind without being over the top, and genuinely funny in a way that felt real, not rehearsed. He talked to our daughters like they mattered, and trust me, they noticed. Bayou City is lucky to have him. We'll be back, and yes, we'll be asking for Dylan's section. 10/10, no notes.

Typically love Bayou City for tasty pasta and seafood dishes. I have in past had excellent crawfish here as well during crawfish season, but this visit, unfortunately was not at their best. It was watery, flavorless, and in some spots cold. Potatoes were also hard. I brought my nieces and nephews for spring break as a treat and at 10.99 a pound and 12 pounds later...was a very expensive lesson. I would still recommend for other menu dishes but won't be having crawfish there again.

My husband and I frequent this place, but we hadn’t had their crawfish in years, so we decided to give it try today. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. We ordered 5 lbs of crawfish, sausage, corn, potatoes, and a couple of butters. When the food came out, the sausage on top looked overly blackened. After trying it, we realized it was just bad no flavor at all and honestly tasted like a plain hot dog wiener. The corn and potatoes tasted like they were boiled in plain water with zero seasoning. The crawfish themselves were small to medium in size, but the biggest issue was the lack of flavor. There was absolutely no seasoning, which is the main thing you expect when ordering crawfish. Even the butter somehow tasted off, which was surprising. Our waiter was great—he noticed immediately that something was wrong and genuinely tried to help. We explained that the food just wasn’t good, but we were still willing to eat the crawfish and weren’t looking for anything for free. He went to speak with the manager to make things right, but the response was disappointing. Instead of coming over personally, the manager sent a message back saying they could “change the sausage flavor,” which didn’t address the actual issue—the sausage itself was not good. Not once did the manager come over to apologize or acknowledge our experience, which was frustrating. The waiter did his best, but overall, there was not one thing we truly enjoyed about this meal. This was, without a doubt, the worst crawfish we’ve ever had.
