The only gripe I have is that their delivery service isn't the most reliable; I've had items missing twice during delivery, so now, I prefer to shop online and pick up, or I'll just go into the store. Their deli selection is really good; their Italian cheeses are one of my favorite things. The florist has some really nice selections as well.

This morning, while grabbing a few items at Albertsons, I watched a woman place her dog in a grocery cart. The dog then urinated through the cart. That is not cute, acceptable, or harmless—it’s disgusting. Grocery carts are not fully sanitized between uses. At best, stores provide small disinfectant wipes at the entrance that barely cover the handle, let alone the basket where food is placed. When pets are allowed to ride in carts, bodily fluids, dander, and bacteria are left behind for the next customer—who may be placing fresh produce, bread, or packaged food in that same space. Service animals are legally protected and trained to meet strict behavioral and hygiene standards. Pets are not. Allowing non-service animals into grocery carts creates unnecessary health risks, especially for people with allergies, compromised immune systems, or food safety concerns. If this becomes the norm, where does it stop? Pets with dandruff, shedding hair, parasites, or poor hygiene spreading contaminants throughout a food store? Grocery stores are not dog parks. Food safety and public health should outweigh convenience or entitlement. Being pet-friendly should never come at the expense of basic sanitation.
