  As a born and raised Texan, Whataburger has been a staple in my life since I was young. I will always remember coming with my mother to Whataburger at 6:15am, before school started, to get a burger and fries. 😂 Whataburger was also my first serious job. I vividly remember doing 10-12 hour shifts in the drive thru during high school and college. To me, Whataburger symbolizes Texas' strength and resolve through good times and bad times. Harmon Dobson started with a small stand in Corpus Christi in 1950, and look where all his hard work led. 17 States. Thousands of locations. I love Whataburger. That being said, you got 4 stars because YOU NEVER REMEMBER MY CINNAMON ROLL ITS BEEN LIKE 4 TIMES GUYS COME ON I PAID FOR THAT I NEED THAT

  System down - no problem. Tell us & let us know it’s gonna be 20 minutes before we get our food in a fast food restaurant drive thru. Give customers the option of waiting that long or going elsewhere. They told me I had an upgrade for the wait…I didn’t…& then they added things to my burger I didn’t like or ask for. But at this point, I’m starving. They didn’t even offer to correct it. I was already disappointed that whataburger got rid of lemon pies…they were always my fav - I didn’t ask for anything unreasonable or extra. I only wanted what I ordered & I couldn’t even get that. And then to be lied to about an upgrade - & stared at blankly with an “I’m sorry for the wait” but not for lying or getting my order wrong, & not even attempting to fix it. How’re you NOT going to fix my order, NOT give me what you said you did, and GIVE me something I didn’t even order?! Now I’m picking extra things off my burger that I didn’t ask for & eating smaller portions than what they were supposed to give me bc I was too hungry to argue with someone not interested in correcting the mistake. It’s sad bc I LUV whataburger! Idk what’s going on with them lately, but maybe it’s time to switch it up…
