It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Yesterday, I was grabbing dinner at 130 E Central Texas Expy, Harker Heights as a walk-in order. Double Whataburger meals no cheese, Monterey melt meal, Prickley Pear Raspberry drinks. Whatacatch meal.

The food tasted alright but the presentation is absolutely horrendous, it’s like they don’t even try when preparing these meals. I asked for no tomatoes on my chicken strip wrap and it was still on there. If something doesn’t change soon I will no longer be visiting this Whataburger.

Morning crew sucks!!! 30 minutes for a sausage biscuit meal & tenders without any heads up it was going to be a long wait. Food wasn't even that hot! No apologies or anything from cashier Elizabeth on 2/16/26 @ 5 a.m.
