Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Several customers reported issues with food quality, including cold and burnt items, and incorrect orders.

Brandon runs a good crew. Service is fast, employees keep it clean, tables are wiped down as soon as a customer leave and the atmosphere is friendly. My food was cooked well. The price was reasonable. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would come back again. Thank you for your attentiveness, Brandon and crew!

This was my first time coming in to a whataburger, and I was extremely surprised by the customer service. The one thing that caught me was the employees coming by my table and offering ketchup and even offering a refill on my drink! Food was great not the best but still enough for 5 stars in my book. I will be coming back at some point if I’m ever in the area again!

The drive thru lady was definitely unhappy this morning. Went to talk the manager and she talked about the other employee instead of acknowledging my experience. I understand life happens but that has nothing to do with the customers. Management definitely needs to communicate better with disgruntled employee.

I've always enjoyed the Whataburger restaurants, for their food and cleanliness. But this Whataburger was different. The food is good, but the cleanliness of the dining area was NOT. Not a single table was clean. There was food on every table. There was only two tables with customers and noone at the front, ordering. There was only 1 car in drive through. When my wife asked for a rag to clean the table, the girl gave her a dry rag. The same exact think happened last week. This is really ridiculous as there are several employees in the back that could handle this. They are not that busy. We should NOT have to clean our own table. Then, if that wasn't enough, we were given a number and asked to sot down the meal would be brought to us. One of the employees stopped at the counter and yelled out the number. What the heck, quit being lazy, take a your black hoodie off and bring the food to the table!!!

App order for curbside. I waited an additional 10 minutes after time the app said it would be ready and had to park and walk in for pickup. All o order was a shake and a small fry. My fry had been sitting there so long it was cold in the bag, the shake wasn’t made and I had to ask for fresh fries. No apologies. Barely any interaction. The atmosphere of the workers was as if I was inconveniencing THEM. So disappointed. My last time to choose this location.
