It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    I have been a regular for 2 years at this Whataburger. My food is always great and freshly made. These people are wonderful. The place is spotless all the times that I come in. JOHN makes that happens. He also takes care of the parking lot too. It is spotless and it is so clean . You can smell the bleach . The person that I love the most is MARIA. She is always nice to me and my brother when we come. She always knows what I get. It is 0600am and the full crew is always working. They are fixing something or stocking or just cleaning. This is why I love this Whataburger. This whole crew needs to be recognized. There are people that I don't remember their names the managers should know who I am talking about on March 4th at 6am of 2026.

    THEY NEED TO BRING BACK THE WRANGLER double patty two different kinds of cheese chipotle aioli sauce dried onions hold the pickles was amazing I was getting it every week it needs to be a specialty burger get outta here with that patty melt and the chicken buffalo ranch sandwich and the monetary melt

    They left out the apple sauce and the gummies in the 2 kids meal. The burgers were not even in the wrapper all the way so onions and jalapeños fell out all over my car! It was very disappointing.

    As far as Whataburgers go, this is a solid location. Simple, clean, interior and fast, attentive service. Burgers are just like any of their locations and fries were hot. I can't say Whataburger has the best fast food burgers, but they get the job done and fries are hot and delicious!

    We ordered two onion rings and confirmed twice with the employee that the order was for two. We then waited about 15 minutes before anything was brought out. When they finally came, it was only one onion ring. The employee asked us to pull forward and said they would bring the second one out. We waited another 15 minutes while they continued serving other cars, but no one ever brought the second onion ring. Eventually, we had to leave without receiving the full order. The wait time was excessive, and it was frustrating to confirm the order multiple times and still not receive what we paid for. Very disappointing experience.
