My in-laws come to Rainforest Café often, but this was my first visit, and unfortunately it will also be my last. We were celebrating my son’s birthday, and the entire experience was extremely disappointing. We waited over 45 minutes for our food with no communication from our waitress. She never checked on us or gave any updates. I even asked my family if it normally takes this long, and they said absolutely not — even they were shocked at how bad the service was this time. When we finally did receive our meals, the food was cold, which made the wait even more frustrating. To make it worse, at the end of the night the manager came over to inform us of an automatic 18% gratuity for our party of 12. This is what truly irritated me because with the service we received, no one deserved a tip. People work hard for their money, and it shouldn’t be automatically taken for service that wasn’t provided. When my sister and I spoke to the manager, there was zero accountability — just excuses and blaming the kitchen. Overall, this was a terrible first impression. I’ve had far better service at Chili’s, and honestly, that’s where we should’ve gone. I will never return.

I came with my sister for my nieces birthday. I got food poising after eating the chicken pasta here. I drove home to okc after eating here. Worst experience ever. Our server was also frazzled or something, having a bad day? It took 15 minutes for us to get our drinks. Maybe 20-30 before he came to get our food order since he had gotten a table right after bringing our water. He made us feel like WE were the problem when he couldn’t get past the chairs because two tables were seated. He made my nephew get up and walk to the other side so he would have room to walk. Should rainforest cafe have their dynamic with space and customers sitting worked out already? The way he spoke to my brother in law was just rude. The space behind me was available to walk behind? I’ve been a server before so I know what’s it’s like. I just couldn’t understand this guy. What kind of customer service…. After that he tried to convince my brother in law to join some rewards program. Then they take pictures so you’re able to buy one, but if you don’t they just throw them away??? I just felt so awkward and like we were a hassle eating here. Please update the restaurant as well. It looks so outdated 😭😭😭😭😭

I have never been to this location before. As a child myself I was taken to one in California. So I thought I would take my own child. I had higher expectations, we drove almost 4 hours and arrived right before 11:30am. We sat next to the bar in the corner, our view of the restaurant was restricted by the tree. I wish we were sat in the middle with a better view. The restaurant was still empty when we were seated. The waiter took our order but seemed like his mind was elsewhere. We got our food and no issues with that. He checked on us maybe two times, but never offered us refills or brought us new drinks while dinning. When he brought the check I was ready to pay to get it out the way. As soon as I gave him my card he came by and got my plate which was fine because I was finished with mine. But he didn’t ask if we wanted a Togo boxes or if we were even finished with it. I had to run to the restroom real quick and My wife was on her phone and he picked up her plate when she wasn’t looking, so we weren’t able to take our leftovers home. Other than that the atmosphere was great and my daughter loved the place. They do come by an take your pictures at the table if you want. It’s 1 picture $20 or two pictures for $30.

I am very disappointed with the front of house, my family is visiting from Australia. We have taken our granddaughter to many of these cafes, but when I got to front desk. There was a family of 3 and they went straight in, when I ask for a table for 3 I was ask where the 3rd person was, I explained that she went to the car and she would be here shortly, then the young person started that it was a 30 minute wait. I felt that she didn't want to give us a table. Never mention to couple in front of me, so iam very disappointed, as I would have thought you would welcome visitors from different countries, I did ask her dont you want to serve us she just giggled, so I left.

The food was incredible. Be sure to ask if there's anything on your meal that isn't listed on the menu. I have food allergies. I ordered a salad based off what was on the menu but when it came out it had things on it that weren't listed and that I'm allergic to. Our waiter Stefan was amazing. His energy was fabulous, he was kind and attentive. Honestly he needs to be working in a 5 star bc he's got the skill for it! They swapped out my salad. All in all everything was fantastic. If you like spinach artichoke dip, order 2, you'll thank me later. If you have sensory stimulation concerns, this place might be a little much. It's really creative and I loved all of it. However, my team got caught off guard a few times by thinderclaps and monkeys screaming lol all in all is was a great time.
