The only good thing about this place is the 25 minute increments for the “thunderstorm” show and the animals being loud…. I took my family as a surprise we were a table of 7, 3 adults, 2 kids, 1 infant, we had server issues, drink issues, and most importantly food issues. And to top off the whole night (4 HOURS TOTAL WAIT) a terrible confrontation at the front desk to retrieve our drink glasses. With the sales rep being completely confrontational and rude with my husband, and proceeded to throw the glass on the counter that we were retrieving for our meal and then was trying to proceed to fight my husband in the middle of the store. We ended up paying $150 still for the worst experience I’ve ever had at any restaurant.. and this was for first timers! Terrible, terrible! Managers lie and the whole place is a joke NEVER AGAIN!!

The atmosphere was great but the service wasn't 45min wait for food and the place wasn't even packed yet to have such a long wait for food, and 18% grad tip was ridiculous, where we were seated there was a group of waitress just standing there an laughing, like move around do your jobs go wipe a table down go ask if you tanle is doing good, go out your way for your tip!!! We couldn't even here eachother conversat at my table because of it, we felt like we were apart of there conversation, in my opinion here in oklahoma people bust there butt for a tip and show it, not there in Galveston they just stand around on there phones and get an automatic 18% tip and they know it. Smh so sad

Please read before visiting this location. My family and I decided to visit this location since we had a lovely experience at the San Antonio location. We arrived at 5:39 and we were advised that it would be a 45min wait, which is perfectly fine. Waits like that are usually expected, no issue. We were seated at 6:20pm. Our table and seats were filled with left over crumbs and rice. Menus were extremely sticky. Our waitress asked for our drinks and 10 mins later she comes back asking if we’re ready to order drinks, which she realizes we had already ordered and left to go get them, we also asked for an appetizer and ordered our food when she came back with the drinks. 30 mins pass, our appetizer arrived, by this time it’s already almost 7pm. Figured it was a busy Sunday, again, I understand. We hear nothing from our waitress regarding our food for the next 30mins.We also get no refill offers. Nothing. Our waitress comes by and tells me that she forgot to mention they didn’t have the veggie side option that I originally chose.. an hour later after we ordered our food with her. Literally, an hour. To which I just told her to please substitute the side. She luckily brings my child’s plate so that he could eat in the meantime my partner and I waited for our plate. We don’t get out food till 7:45pm. My coconut shrimp is raw, not sure if they get their shrimp delivered raw or they’re already precooked, but I didn’t bother touching the shrimp because it looked utterly disgusting. the fries ordered weren’t given to me till 10mins after I got my plate. My partner ordered fajita, the meat was burnt and both the meat and chicken were cold. The skillet that holds the fajita has left over crumbs that were extremely burnt/charred as if it was just reused from a previous customer rather than using a clean one. My partner and I did not eat. We tried to get the attention of others employees walking by to get any kind of update on the meantime while it all happened, all we were told was “let me get your waitress.” She never came. We spent a total of $95.21, for two meals we did not eat, our child’s plate, and an appetizer. We passed by to the local fast food chain restaurant right after and had better service there. This is experience was beyond terrible, I can’t even believe the reviews are this high considering how the place looks on its own. I’m beyond disappointed. For our waitress, I’d like to give her the benefit of the doubt that perhaps she was just busy. But I don’t know, this is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had, and this is coming from someone who has worked in the food industry previously. And to top the whole experience, the restrooms were completely disgusting.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had lunch at Rainforest Cafe today with our family and overall it was a very enjoyable experience — especially great for kids. Atmosphere: The rainforest theme is really fun and immersive. There are lots of animal decorations and aquariums throughout the restaurant. Every 25 minutes or so, there’s a “storm” experience with animal movements, sounds, mist, and thunder/lightning effects. It was very well done and definitely exciting for kids. Food: We ordered four dishes and overall everything was good. • Mojo Bones and Taste of the Islands were amazing. The full rack of ribs was especially good — very flavorful and tender. • The Jerk Chicken & Shrimp Pasta and Avesone App were a bit on the salty side for me, but my family thought they were fine. Service: Service was generally good. We didn’t get water refilled during the meal, maybe because it was a bit busy, but overall the staff was friendly and attentive. They also have ballon animal, kids love it. So do I . Overall, a fun dining experience with great atmosphere and solid food. Highly recommend for families with kids!

It was our first time here, we loved the atmosphere with the effects which was the main reason why we came especially with a toddler but be also have two teenagers who enjoyed it as well. Food was good for the most of us but my son said there was no seasoning for the shrimp in the anaconda pasta. Our waitress was quick to greet us and get us started. My only real complaint was the women’s restrooms. Restrooms were very dirty especially after just opening. We left about 1pm so in my opinion bathrooms shouldn’t be that dirty within two hours of opening. There was only two stalls that were decent enough to use. None of the sinks but one were working to wash hands. Paper towel dispenser door was just open with paper towels on counter. For the price you pay for the experience they should’ve really had those bathrooms way cleaner. The bathroom was the last thing we did before leaving and it left me disappointed with the place and just hoped their kitchen was cleaner.
