I really hate posting this review. I have been coming to the Grapevine Pappadeaux for 20 plus years. Today was my wedding anniversary and my husband and I wanted to celebrate it at Pappadeaux Grapevine. Lots of great memories here.
Jen was our bartender and amazing as always. She is the best thing left at this location.
I ordered a lobster from the fresh tank. It took quite some time to get it served. All the rest of the food came but the lobster was delayed. I can live with that as things happen. But the lobster was served and it was bad. Uncooked and mushy and chopped up. Honestly terrible. I let Jen know and immediately we replaced it with another entree as I needed something quick.
The bill arrived and I was double charged for two sides. I asked that it be corrected but the new and inexperienced manager made the same mistake again.
We finally got the bill corrected. Now I have been coming to this location for 20 plus years. If there was ever a problem, the manager would come by, express concern, apologize and comp the second meal due to the inconvenience and hassle. Or offer a dessert on the house. None of this took place today. I was stunned truly.
I think I was most stunned by the lack of concern or an apology. It was our wedding anniversary and we chose to share it with Pappadeaux. When you spend $150 before a tip, you would think this is just a common courtesy when things don't go well. If everything had been amazing, $150 well spent. But to spend the exact same amount with issues, not fun or a good experience, it's not right.
Lastly, I rarely order lobster. This was a big mistake on behalf of the kitchen to send a lobster that was mushy and fragmented in bits and chopped. Did no one notice that the tail wasn't intact? And it took so long.
Anyway we love Jen but greatly disappointed in the new manager that didn't even have the courtesy to come by and touch base. He clearly needs additional training in customer service and needs to reflect that maybe ignoring a 20 year consistent and high spending customer is not a good thing to do. Just disappointed that this was my anniversary experience.

The best seafood restaurant in the DFW area, period, full stop! I don't think they have a bad item on their menu. It isn't cheap, but the best never is, just be prepared to be amazed!
Just avoid the Pappadeaux in Euless. Sub par service seems to be their norm. All the others are amazing!

I had an amazing dining experience at Pappadeaux, thanks to our incredible server, Joel. From the moment we were seated, she greeted us with a warm smile and an upbeat attitude that set the tone for the entire meal. Joel was attentive without being intrusive, always anticipating what we needed before we even had to ask.
She knew the menu inside and out, offering great recommendations and making sure our food came out exactly as ordered. Every interaction felt genuine—she truly cared that we were enjoying our time. It’s rare to find someone who can balance professionalism with such a friendly, personal touch, but Joel nailed it perfectly.
Thanks to her, our meal went from good to unforgettable. Pappadeaux is lucky to have someone like Joel representing their brand—I’ll definitely be coming back and asking for her by name!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review for Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen
By far one of my favorite restaurants in Texas! The food is always flavorful and consistent no matter which location I visit.
We had the chicken Alfredo — simple but packed with great flavor. My absolute favorite, though, is the crab spinach dip — it’s a must-try every time. I also love their fried catfish, blackened catfish, and red beans and rice — all delicious and perfectly seasoned.
At this particular location, the only thing I didn’t love was the dirty rice; I’ve had it at other Pappadeaux’s and enjoyed it more there. But aside from that, everything was excellent.
Highly recommend Pappadeaux’s overall — consistently great food, atmosphere, and service!
