Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    Avoid during Nights shift! My burger is COLD, missing items, bun is stiff, fries are cold, and the Big Ranch wrap is cold. I need to honk my horn to get the attendant to take my order on the drive thru. I understand it’s teenagers working, but $18 would have been better spent elsewhere. WB needs help, night time is not the best time to go, do better!

    I ordered a patty melt and a chicken strip meal online. The patty melt came on a regular bun instead of the Texas toast. They forgot the gravy for my strips and the fries were cold. I wouldn’t normally complain but when you spend almost $30, you expect better.

    Ordered, paid, kept me in the drive thru for 50 minutes while serving at least 20 cars behind me, wouldn’t come to my car to update me, just ignored me. I eventually had to leave. That was weeks ago and i haven’t seen a refund. I call that theft.

    I’ve been to this Whataburger at least 10 times, and on no less than 8 of those visits I ordered through the app. Almost every time, my order takes an additional 10–15 minutes longer than it should, not including the 7 minutes the app already says it may take for the order to be ready. Ordering ahead is supposed to save time, but at this location it does the opposite. I consistently arrive when the app says my order should be ready, only to be told to wait much longer. This has become a pattern, not an isolated incident. The repeated delays make the app feel unreliable and show a lack of organization at this location. After giving this place multiple chances, it’s frustrating to keep having the same experience. I expect better time management and accuracy.

    Me and my family have been coming to this location since they opened but for the past 2 years their customer service has sucked. The food has gone down slightly but for this year as of 2025 its been ok. I highly recommend that you please train these young people to have respect and not crumble up receipts on purpose when giving it to the customer. Also, the attitudes that the staff has is terrible, they are messing up orders left and right which is fine if you can fix it without a bad attitude. The disrespect the young people are giving the customer inside and in the drive through is going to cause an altercation because the staff is treating people that bad. Moving forward please hire some more adults on staff and train the young people better or people will stop coming here. There are plenty of Whataburgers and for this hot spot location to be performing like this is not good. And I do believe this situation should be taken to the higher ups in corporate or the Owner of this location.
