  Do better. Long wait for food, waited 4 hours for pool table, was on the waiting and was never called. Service was horrible. Overall, terrible experience.

  I went the day after Christmas. The bartender in the back keeps my card. When I I could not locate it and returned to the bar no empathy/remorse. Laughed and told me she left it on the card reader. Advised how worried I was and could I be compensated. No. Merry Christmas to me. Thank you for the service, grinch!

  Very disappointing experience at Main Event in Grand Prairie. We chose to eat at the restaurant and waited at the front under a sign that said “Please wait to be seated.” After standing there for 5–7 minutes, my husband finally flagged someone down and was told it was seat yourself. Once seated, it took another 7 minutes for anyone to come take our drink order. During that time, our waitress, Ronisha, walked past our table multiple times without ever glancing in our direction. There were two other tables seated well after us that had already received their food before anyone even came to take our order. The table beside us eventually got tired of waiting and left altogether. After placing our drink order, we waited over 15 minutes for a Coke, a sweet tea, and two adult beverages. The Coke and tea finally arrived from someone other than our waitress. When we asked about the missing drinks, a staff member named Caleb said he would check. Ronisha eventually came over, asked if we hadn’t received our drinks yet, then went to the bar and brought them—but placed my husband’s Long Island iced tea directly in front of our 13-year-old son. When my husband expressed frustration and I asked for a manager, Ronisha said she probably wouldn’t be able to find one. At that point we wanted to leave, but we had already paid for bowling and were on a long wait list, so we reluctantly stayed. Food service was just as bad. After waiting 20 minutes, only 3 of the 4 entrées came out. When I mentioned mine was missing, Ronisha said, “Oh, you haven’t?”—which was obvious—and blamed the food runners. My food arrived about 10 minutes later. Not once were we asked if we needed refills on our empty drinks or if we wanted another adult beverage. Ronisha came to our table a total of about five times the entire evening. This was an absolute joke of an evening and completely ruined what should have been a fun family night. We won’t be returning.

  I had a very disappointing experience at Main Event. We arrived at 7:30pm Tuesday 12/30 and waited in a long line. When we finally reached the front and it was clearly our turn, the employee at the desk completely ignored us because her friend showed up. The friend was allowed to cut the entire line, and the employee immediately helped her instead. What made it worse was that the employee told her friend their bowling lane would be ready in 5 minutes, while telling us who had been waiting properly that the wait time was 2 hours. This felt extremely unfair and unprofessional. Customers should be treated equally, and staff should not prioritize friends over paying guests who are following the rules and waiting their turn. This experience showed poor customer service and a lack of respect for guests’ time. I expected much better from a place like Main Event.

  The service for the kitchen was absolutely horrible!! Waited 15 minutes and finally had to approach someone for menus! The basic necessities to eat something and guess what happened 15 minutes later.. NO MENUS. P.s. theres food already made just sitting on the counter waiting to get served. Please dont eat here, don't waste your time. Just GO PLAY!
