The cashier behind the register stood there with a mask on her face while the manager was cleaning the register next to her. Neither of them bothered to ask me if they could help me. After standing there for almost 10 minutes I asked the cashier if she could serve me. As I’m giving her my order I had to keep asking her what she was saying bc I couldn’t hear her voice underneath the mask. I had no problem with her wearing the mask, I just wished she would have spoken louder. While all this is going on, the cook was distracted and you could smell the bagels burning. The manager finally says to her, “The bagel is burning”. I get my food and there was no thank you or anything. I wasn’t the only one treated this way. The guy behind me walked in to no greeting and he stood there as well waiting to be asked to be served. This makes absolutely no sense when it wasn’t busy at all! I’d rather spend my money with a restaurant that believes in giving good customer service with at least a friendly smile.
