Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Always a disappointment when the food you expect to be as great as it was thatafe you want to go back in the first place is NOT EVEN CLOSE, but rather undercooked, over mustard, and a soggy, literally wet bun on the burgers. So wet n soggy can't eat the bun. Not sure if from over abundant mustard. Or wet lettuce. Or what. But one time you get it perfect. Meat cooked just right and taste great then next time it's like the worst burger ever. At the prices it's not worth it. I'm assuming it all depends on what time of day or who is working at the time you go.it used to be the go to place years ago. Now it's almost a last resort .

Told us to pull around by manager between trash cans, waited 15 minutes before going in to be told no one told us you were waiting, attitude with order taken for half filled taquitos, hard as a rock jalapeño biscuit, ice cold hash browns with a tea tastes like it was sitting out all night. No receipt given.

Double means 2 hamburger Patties 2 slices of cheese that's about 5 or 6 dollars difference I over paid again.
