Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- MAMeighan ArnoldJan 5, 20264.0I stopped by the Whataburger in Gonzales and was excited to check out the new location. The staff was friendly and the burgers came out hot and made-to-order. The fresh taste lived up to what I expect from Whataburger, and the updated layout seems promising.

Employees in the lobby joking around while a long line of people waiting for their food. Re-evaluate your employees. waited over 30 minutes PAST the expected "ready" time on the app. only employee that had any sort of care in the world was Joshua at the register.
- CCCathy CruzDec 28, 20252.0SLOW.... So slow, which you'd expect from Whataburger at 1am when it's packed but 11:15am on a Sunday? There were 15ppl in there max, including us and it took 20min for the food to come out. Apparently they're still working the kinks out. Our order was also wrong.

Ordered a strawberry shake and they told me that they would have to "change" the machine and they were pushing me to not get a strawberry shake. New building, same staff. Also manager reached out to me and offered to give me just a replacement shake. I don't know, you'd think almost poisoning me with chemicals would get me something more.
