Waited 20 minutes food was all cold and onion. Rings dried out hot dogs cold to the touch. Ordered large for sides and they were not filled correctly

The cashier mistakenly selected mozzarella sticks instead of onion rings for my side. I corrected her, and she informed the kitchen of the mistake. When I asked about the price difference, she was unsure and brought the general manager, Justin, to the window. He told me the items were the same price.
I checked online and confirmed they were not the same price. When another employee, who identified herself as a manager, brought my order to the window, I explained the incorrect charge. She re-rang the order and confirmed the correct total should have been $9.19, not the $11.25 I was charged. I was refunded the $2.06 difference in cash. She was apologetic, which I appreciated.
What I do not appreciate is the general manager providing incorrect information instead of correcting the mistake. This was very misleading and raises concerns about how often customers may be unknowingly overcharged.
