Excellent. Absolutely a wonderful dining experience. The only issue is that the noise level is high. It was hard to carry on a conversation with our guest or ourselves. The meals were all excellent. The service was off the charts. It was truly a wonderful dining experience. We have found our go-to place for special occasions and wonderful dining experiences.

Excellent Polite Professional Waitress. Very efficient. Amazing food! I had Ribeye Med Rare - Perfect! Special mashed potatoes, & green beans - all very delicious & tasty - I wasn’t hungry, just there for workshop but I took leftovers home. Cheesecake was good too, not special, just normal cheesecake like I can make at home, but good. I’d like to go back for dinner sometime when I’m hungry & dressed up! Not midday. Would be great for a group or a date night! Or some kind of special celebration! No views but downtown Georgetown so walkable around the square to walk off dinner.

The restaurant itself is nice and has an upscale atmosphere. However, things started going downhill almost immediately. For example, I ordered an appetizer, the pork belly, only to be told that they are out. I then asked if I could substitute a baked sweet potato for the baked potato (the ONLY side item that was included with my Ribeye). The answer was that they don’t carry baked sweet potato. I personally don’t appreciate having to pay 12-18 dollars extra for a side of green beans. Needless to say the baked potato was not even warm and quite firm. I only have one question when I review a restaurant: Would I return? Unfortunately, the answer is no. The steak was good, but that was not enough.

The food was impressive and the drink selection was great. The service, however, suffered. The waitress seemed disengaged and annoyed we were even there. The service was so bad, that I didn't leave excited to come back. Throughout the evening the waitress was impatient, cold, and not helpful. She had attitude- I thought that was pretty bold from a large table you automatically get $150-200 for. Compliments to the culinary team but the poor service led to an overall, more to be desired, experience. I was excited to try it based on reviews and other feedback, and I'm disappointed it fell short. I wish I'd enjoyed my time there more. I like to think I'd give Wildfire another shot- but honestly I'm not sure.

I am expertly familiar with the workings of restaurants and the hospitality industry. My experience was as follows- I was in the area, looking up local restaurants and I found this place. It looked lovely so I called to make sure I wasn’t going to break dress code with my current clothing (too far from home to go and change). Young gentleman answered the phone and was very nice to me, he was equally lovely to me when I went in to the restaurant, in fact he was charismatic, comforting and humorous about my embarrassment to be wearing a hoodie and sweat pants at such a nice and respectable establishment. Anyway I was sat, and greeted by my waitress who was pleasant and friendly despite seeming green and nervous/clumsy perhaps. Her friendliness was more than enough to cover the lack of smoothness in any spiel, or lack there of. I had seen a description of a chicken fried steak that sounded amazing so that’s what I went for, thinking I was really excited to try everything else and bring my mother to this place as the bread basket was lovely and exactly what she would have loved. I know that the steak must be fried so I asked what the minimum temperature was to order the steak, and the waitress assured me that I could order it rare if I wanted… so I ordered it how I would order any steak- medium-rare. When it eventually came out, I noticed aesthetically the breading/batter looked very dark/burnt around the edges. The dish was dropped off by a manager, who didn’t make eye contact nor interact in any way at all but very rudely just sort of dropped it and said enjoy while he had already began walking away without so much as a smile or hint of sincerity or that he belongs in the industry of hospitality. The waitress dropped by a little later to check on me, I was frightened to even cut into it because it was easy to tell from appearances that it was overdone. Upon cutting into it I saw that it was cooked beyond well done. Not a drop of color on it, to imagine that this abomination of a steak made it to a table that ordered medium rare is embarrassing. I took a bite of the end of it, and it had zero flavor and moisture in it. It was worse than low grade overdone ground burger meat. Not being confrontational and being alone and slightly embarrassed still at being dressed inappropriately I humbly pointed it out to my waitress really hoping she would either help me or relay it to someone that would rectify the situation. She instead said “oh I wish you’d have told me, I would have had them remake it for you”… directly shutting down the obvious recourse of throwing it in the garbage and giving the customer what they asked for and what you want them to pay for, and enjoy eating. I didn’t take another bite of it for perhaps 10 minutes hoping someone with a shred of professionalism or pride in their job would save this situation for me. Alas, my hunger got the better of me and I ate it, utilizing the mash potato and gravy to get it down without choking on it. It was unbelievably tough and otherwise inedible. I asked the waitress toward the end if perhaps she misspoke and the steak must come well done or close to well done for the sake of it being fried, she clarified that isn’t the case and that it simply was a mistake… a mistake that not a single offer of correction was made. I genuinely would have felt a million times better if a drop of professional hospitality or even sincerity had been offered. I thought I was politely making it obvious that I was unhappy, I guess I wasn’t clear enough. Before leaving I asked the waitress if a manager of chef was even aware of my table and situation- she told me her manager said “as long as you offered a replacement”. No such offer was made, in fact it was shut down by what she had said regarding it. The manager made no appearance, and charged me my full bill doing absolutely nothing to stop this review. I didn’t come expecting Michelin Star quality or care,- I am not snooty by any means either. I expect decency, and I expect hospitality… I received neither and left extremely disappointed.
