The service was great. But the food was not great. Duck quesadillas were not very good as the duck was tough. My main meal chicken fried ribeye was good not great. The corn served with it had too much liquid smoke or overly smoked. But the service was great.

Had high hopes based on the menu, as everything sounded great and I wanted to try every item on there, however, nothing wowed me once trying it. Starting with the rolls and butter, they appeared to be yeast rolls, but they didn't have that nice yeasty flavor and were rather bland, and unfortunately the butter couldn't help since it wasn't flavored or salted. The onion soup was ok, just not quite near being the best I've had. I'm big on sides and looked forward to the collard greens and loaded baked potato, but again the greens were just ok and the potato fell short. It wasn't nice and fluffy, but dense and close to being hard. The beef tenderloin had a great texture and was cooked correctly, but man the flavor was not good at all. I was looking forward to a live fire cooked steak, but this tasted like burnt char, even though it didn't have any apparent char on it. Somehow that unpleasant flavor still permeated throughout the steak. Still, I love the items that were placed on the menu, but now they just need to be executed a little better. I'll try again sometime and definitely try other items.

The food was great. Themenu was extensive though so it was hard to choose. We had the pastrami sandwich. It was great. The only negative was that the restaurant was too cold.

Went here twice. first time manager/staff was beyond rude to the point we left without ordering. Second time I went was with a group and staff was ok. Everything was hectic and my food came out burnt after waiting over 45 minutes.

Service was great and the ambiance was exquisite, however the food did not meet expectations. I ordered the pork chop and it was very dry and flavorless. My boyfriend ordered a NY Strip which was overcooked on the outside and not seasoned. I don’t know if Georgetown intentionally “under seasons” their food for their specific clientele, but the food just was nothing to write home about. Maybe I will give them another chance in the future and try something else.
