Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- CCCaius Chancellor3 days ago1.004/07/2026 Tuesday at 10:25 PM. I came to order a JR Whataburger w/ cheese NO TOMATOES OR ONIONS. When I arrived at the intercom I was not PROPERLY GREETED instead I was waiting. 8 minutes exactly passes by and I say “HELLO” then a gentlemen gets on the intercom and say “We’ll be right with you” So I asked them why wouldn’t they say anything before me saying anything?? I get to the window and I wait almost 20 minutes for my food. Mind you there were no cars in the line at the moment. The women at the window had an attitude out this world. Not only that THEY PUT TOMATOES AND ONIONS on my burger after me placing my order and saying NOT TO. I immediately had to go to the hospital because of a reaction from the tomatoes that was REQUESTED NOT TO BE THERE! This is the worse Whataburger at night time & Management needs to put better people who actually wants to work in there because these reviews and the services at night is HORRIBLE
