- SSSherrie SlavensApr 3, 20262.0They've changed the menu. Only 4 options on the lunch menu. The food is different. The chicken fajitas were tasteless. They now charge $10 for a small bowl of queso. Not worth the money or the time. Used to be one of my favorite places. Won't be going back.

Once I placed the order for fajita nachos, a bowl of queso, side order of guacamole, and a piece of tres Leche’s cake, the person I spoke with over the phone said it would be 15 min. My wife stopped in at the 15 min time frame and had to wait another 15 min to get the order. Once she arrived at our home, the food was stone cold (we live 15 min from this restaurant). We spent $42 on very little food. The portions were unbelievably small. Very disappointed with On The Border restaurant.

The hostess was delightfully friendly, which made my server Quayvis (known as "Q") seem unenthusiastic, but he was probably just tired. His service, however, was perfect. Cleanliness was excellent everywhere, from the silverware to the men's room.
