  Kasie at the Galveston location was friendly and so helpful making excellent suggestions and when we mentioned the volcano dessert and recent changes, she suggested a similar brownie ice cream dessert more like the original one (minus the candy treats) with the sparkler which was the original dessert my sons have enjoyed since we went to the original grand opening. I have brought my so sons there as a single mom for their birthdays ever since they were children-they are now 24 and 21 years old & still beg to go every chance we happen to come to the Island during those long hot Texas summers to enjoy a little beach down time and enjoy Schlitterbahn and the great hotels here!

  Husband and I took our two daughters to eat at the Galveston location this evening and had a wonderful time! Atmosphere was exciting and colorful; just perfect for 11 and 16-yo girls and they adored their lighted souvenir cups they got to take home. Our waiter was Ibrahim and he was absolutely amazing and made the dinner a perfect evening for us. He was funny and very informative on the makeup and feel for all the dishes and we are so glad to take his recommendations. Ibrahim was kind and attentive and got to our needs before we even thought of them and it’s because of waiters like him and their genuine smile and service that will keep us coming back. Thanks Ibrahim for one of the best family dinners we have gotten to have in a long time. 😊

  Warning for Parents I am writing this to urge parents and families to be extremely cautious before boarding the river ride at the Rainforest Cafe in Galveston. What is advertised as a fun family ride takes a deeply disturbing turn that every parent needs to be aware of. While the beginning of the ride features the standardanimals and jungle scenery you would expect, the experience shifts into something much more sinister and dark toward the end. It moves away from nature and transitions into imagery that felt overtly demonic and evil. Why I Cannot Recommend This Location: * Deceptive Advertising: It is marketed as a family-friendly attraction, yet the final sequence is nightmare-inducing and entirely inappropriate for children. * Spiritual Concerns: The atmosphere at the end of the ride felt spiritually heavy and dark. For those who are sensitive to these themes, it is genuinely shocking to find something so sinister in a popular tourist spot like Galveston. * The ending: The transition from a fun jungle trek to a dark, occult-like environment happens quickly, leaving parents no way to exit once the ride has started. I was honestly stunned to find something this dark in a restaurant that caters to children. Because of this experience, I cannot recommend the Rainforest Cafe. If you value a wholesome environment for your family, please avoid this ride. There are plenty of other places in Galveston to enjoy without exposing your children to something so disturbing.

  The outstanding service we received during our recent visit. Our server, Robin, was truly exceptional and deserves special recognition. From the moment we were seated, Robin displayed an incredibly warm and professional demeanor. They were not only impeccably polite but also remarkably attentive, anticipating our needs and handling all our requests with grace and efficiency. Robin's ability to make us feel genuinely valued and comfortable significantly enhanced our overall experience, turning a simple meal into a memorable occasion. It is rare to encounter such a consistently positive and customer-focused individual. Mr. Anthony Munoz, waiter was superb—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to ensuring my meal was handled with the highest level of caution. What truly set this experience apart was the chef personally coming out to meet me, discussing my allergies in detail, and assuring me that he would prepare my food with the utmost care. That level of professionalism and compassion is rare and deeply appreciated. Because of their diligence, I was able to enjoy my meal with confidence and peace of mind.
