We came in for lunch on a Sunday and were seated right away outside. Our server was Chrissy and she was very attentive. We shared a dozen wonderful and fresh oysters, a cup of hearty gumbo, the crab cake appetizer (imo was THE best!) and the trio appetizer. Great food, great server and great atmosphere! Was too busy enjoying ourselves to take any photos!

Our first time here and we will be back for sure!! We had a reservation and we were seated quickly! Got drinks at the bar and the bartenders were super attentive! Once we were seated our waitress Summer was OUTSTANDING!! She was so sweet and personable!! She checked on us and kept our drinks full!! And then the food came!! So good!! We had the calamari as a starter and shared a platter!! It came out hot, fresh and fast!! We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and Summer brought us a dessert to celebrate!! Everything from beginning to end... FLAWLESS!!!!!

Fisherman’s Wharf is a 4.5-star spot for happy hour! I stopped by on a Thursday around 4 PM, and the atmosphere was calm, relaxed, and quiet—perfect for unwinding. I loved that there were several seating options, from the bar and high-top tables to outdoor seating right by the water.
Ordering at the bar was quick and easy, which made everything feel smooth and stress-free. I ordered the shrimp kisses and shrimp queso, and both were absolutely amazing—full of flavor and definitely the highlight of my visit.
I also had a Pier 22. It was refreshing and tasted good, just not quite as strong as I would’ve preferred.
My total was around $25, which felt like a great value for the quality and experience. I’ll definitely be back—great food, great vibe, and just a small tweak on the drinks would make it perfect!

If you’re in Galveston and even thinking about seafood, go to Fisherman's Wharf. This was hands‑down the best seafood we’ve eaten in our lives. We ordered a full spread and every single part of it delivered, but three items were truly next‑level: the redfish, the shrimp combo, and the oysters.
The Parmesan Redfish was unbelievably delicious—perfectly cooked, juicy, and “lightly crusted” in a way that adds texture without overpowering the fish (exactly how a great seafood kitchen should do it).
The Shrimp Combo is a must if you want the greatest‑hits version of shrimp in one plate: you get different preparations (including bacon‑wrapped plus other styles) and it’s bold, satisfying, and absolutely worth it.
And the oysters… wow. We ordered the Rockefeller style and they were the best oysters we’ve ever had—rich, savory, and baked with that classic creamy/smoky/cheesy vibe that makes Rockefeller oysters famous.
Add a bowl of New England clam chowder for comfort and a Wharf Salad to balance everything with crunch (the fried goat cheese and onion strings are such a good touch).
To top it off, the draft selection made it even better—we had Galveston Island “Tiki Wheat” and it was the perfect refreshing pairing for a seafood feast.
If you want a “treat yourself” seafood meal in Galveston, this is the one. Ten stars, no notes.

In town for a cruise. Our family of 3 and relatives 2 had dinner here last night. It's Landry's so we were expecting top notch food, service and atmosphere. First off, our server was awesome. She was very attentive, friendly and took great care of us. I wish I wrote her name down so I could give her proper credit. Our table view by the water was awesome also. Food however, not as good. Unfortunately. Bread rolls came out. Luke warm and very bland. Felt like I was eating a sock. (Sad. But true. Sorry). Wife and daughter and other two family friends with us all agreed. Can't believe they are serving these type of bread rolls. Absolutely NO flavor, at all. I had a bowl of gumbo, baked potato and a side salad. Gumbo came out with hardly any rice (no rice visible in the gumbo when placed before me) and I counted 3 small pieces of shrimp. I asked for more rice which our server brought out. Baked potato tasted ok. But it was luke warm. Could not even melt the butter that I put in it. Salad had lettuce and a few sprinkles of shredded cheese. No tomatoes or cucumbers or anything else. Total for my portion around 25 dollars. My wife and daughter split blackened chicken / noodle entree. For 30 plus dollars portion size was VERY small and was overloaded with green onions. My wife normally does not complain but she did this time (to me, of course). Total bill for our family with tip, 75 dollars. Anyway. Realize waterfront dining commands a higher price, so no beef with that. But we were ALL very disappointed with the food quality, especially for a Landry's restaurant. I see all of the positive reviews listed for this restaurant and food, etc. and just wanted to share our experience there last night. Maybe they had an off night. That happens. We MAY give them another shot if we are in the area again. If we do and our next experience is like our experience last night we will never step foot in this restaurant again. In summary, I feel like we paid for the view and service last night. The meal was not good, at all. Sorry. Just being honest.
