Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- ZLZachary Luna4 days ago2.0Waited in the drive thru on a Friday night and it took a while, even after all that waiting the order was still wrong. No basic greetings or any kind of hello from any employee.
- MCMauricio Castro4 days ago2.0Appearance wise this is easily one of the worst experiences I've had. Cashier wearing a shower cap, cooks with full beard not wearing beard covers. Cooks not wearing gloves. If I weren't loaded on Modelos I'd left. The lobby was full of customers waiting on pre-orders. I witnessed the cashier have a friend walk in and ask him for food on the side and get his food before people waiting 20 minutes plus.

There were two groups ahead of me who waited even longer and the staff kept messing up their orders. They were arguing with the customers and blaming the confusion on us. There weren’t even that many people there. If you’re in Galveston and want Whataburger, just go to the one on Stewart Road.

The staff that IS there, is either high, or too young to care about quality service, and as a result, the food is ALWAYS wrong. Something is ALWAYS missing from the order. The food is ALWAYS cold and soggy. Im pretty sure I caught a cold from my last visit. Never again will I eat at this location. I would rather starve to death, than eat here again
- AWAmanda WFeb 22, 20265.0Llatavia greeted us at 7am like we were friends coming over to her house for breakfast, like she had just begun her shift, like we were about to make HER breakfast! She had worked all night, almost time for her to go home, and she was bright, friendly, warm, and smiling! While Gene was busy emptying trash bins and sweeping floors, he was laughing and heckling her for being so happy at 7am on a Saturday morning! Did I mention the music? Perfect set list for a morning island breakfast. We had such a great experience, we considered ditching the gumbo/seafood restaurant we planned to go to, just to return to Whataburger!
