Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I stopped at Whataburger recently and my experience was great. The staff was friendly and the service was quicker than I expected for a busy time of day. My order came out hot and fresh and the burger had that classic flavor I always look forward to. The fries were crisp and the drink was mixed perfectly. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere felt relaxed. Overall it was a solid visit and I will definitely be back.

I waited in the drive through line for over 20 minutes just to pick up my mobile order, which was a single breakfast combo with no changes or special instructions and they still managed to get it wrong.

Went in to order & the cashier was obviously young & training. I have a heavily modified order so I'm more than patient & she was doing a great job. She has to ask the managers how to sub beef patties for chicken & 2 of them got involved & were rude to her & both of them got it wrong anyways. I ended up paying for extra meat instead of swapping it & they STILL made the burger wrong & didn't put the bacon & onions it comes with! They didn't even let the cashier finish my order & one manager was getting so in her face the girl is putting her hands up & backing away. There is no need to be short & snippy with young training workers & make them afraid to ask questions. How else are they going to learn? Additionally, my friend with me was the first to order, it was only a few fries, & my order plus for more were served out before I had to tell someone we were still waiting. Seems like patience & proper delegation of duties could go a long way for the flow of service here.
