Best I’ve ever had, that little bit of char with the very tender meat is great. Which is why I drove in from Houston to get them. They also supply ALL the trimmings. Beans, rice guacamole salsa and chips. Also sour cream a cheese in generous portions. It’s the same experience you would have in the restaurant but Togo. We’ll be back again and again. We used to order occasionally via DoorDash when we were in galveston. Really like ordering direct online now.

Had to use salsa for dressing. No jalapeños offered. Went at 2 pm on Sunday. Hardly any servers to seat all people waiting in line. Good value.

The restaurant was established in 1911 and is a well known landmark here. The restaurant is nestled in close proximity to the Strand and offers authentic Mexican food to enjoy. There is second floor seating as well for parties and events. I highly recommend the Original Mexican Restaurant for your next meal!!

Quesadilla had 4 giant pieces filled with good qutility cheese mushrooms and steak that is cooked just right, with onion and not too much oil, burnt on open fire a little, delicious. They also gave me utensils and chips came with it too. Thank you
