Randall’s used to be my first choice for shopping, but I will never shop there again. At the self-service checkout, the female employee, who was walking with a walking cane, accused me of eating something. I had nothing in my hands—no package, no product, nothing at all. During our shopping process, she came over and harassed us three times. We still do not even understand what exactly she was accusing us of. But the real issue is obvious: we were targeted because of our skin and not being white as much as her. What she did was nothing but racism. How can you accuse someone of eating when they have nothing in their hands and are not putting anything in their mouth? What kind of logic is that? This behavior is unacceptable, offensive, and discriminatory.
