  I like the idea of the place and it looks so cool plus live music makes it cool for the atmosphere, but service was horrible we sat down for a solid 25 minutes before someone greeted us . Guy who took our order didn’t even write it down and of course our order was wrong once we got it . Food tasted horrible .safe to say service and food were horrible .

  Such a cute spot! First time in Galveston and our first place to eat—and it did not disappoint! We had to try a little bit of everything, and the food was delicious with big portions. It was also our first time trying crawfish, so another fun “first” for us! Rylee took amazing care of us and gave some great recommendations for how to spend our day tomorrow. She walked us through the ins and outs of The Strand, told us about the free ferry rides and $1 trolley rides, and truly made the experience even better. When we asked how to eat crawfish, she even brought Devin over to show us the proper way! He explained the spice and made it so easy (and fun) to learn. Such a great experience all around—5 stars isn’t enough! We’ll definitely be back!

  Came with a party of three on Sunday night; had to wait a little to get a table because the kitchen was backed up (saw a group of 40-some people come before us so understandable). Ordered the blackened mahi and it was not only the best mahi I've ever had but possibly the best fish I've ever eaten. Rice and green beans were also delicious. Portion size was appropriate for one person, not massive like some other places. Had some trouble tracking down our server to get the check but they seemed maybe a bit understaffed at the time. Overall excellent.

  This was our first meal on our Galveston vacation. We tried to be patient, but as the night went on, the service kept getting worse. We had to wait to get served, we had to wait to get drinks. When our food came, they didn’t bring all of our order, so we had to wait for that. When our steaks arrived, my wife had to send hers back. The steaks had more of a texture of pork chops than steaks. It got to the point where I just wanted to pay my bill and leave. We waited for that too. We eventually had to get up and go find our server to get our check. The table next to us had a similar experience. Two tables around us got up and left before being served. Not a good night for this restaurant.

  Wow! Just wow, this weekend started off so great, sun was shining, skies were blue and people were so friendly! This evening we went into Brick House and were treated as family, everyone was pretty busy and there was a large group which I am guessing why there was a little wait with our food, but the server was so friendly we didn't mind, but then it even got better, the manager came by and offered us salads while we were waiting for the food and apologized for the wait. I don't get that too often, she was running around just as much as the servers and that says something about how a place is ran, great job Brick House. They have smash burgers too! Everything came out perfect, and we will be back!!
