Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- MMMichael G MNov 17, 20255.0Nov 2025 - New location in Fulshear, TX. It's a small footprint location that not easily accessible with limited parking and inside seating space. Nevertheless, it's a Whataburger through and through with all the great food favorites. LOVE the soda machine. Lots of App order delivery spaces. It's new so super clean! Service was prompt and efficient.

I’ve gone there multiple times, and either my order is wrong, or I have missing items. Not to mention how long it takes. I drove all the way back to get my missing fries. The team lead didn’t even apologize, just got me my fries. In the past, at other locations, when this happened, the manager on duty was very apologetic and offered shakes or something to make it right. Not sure who’s running this location, but it’s been very disappointing. Edit: I wouldn’t trust the 5 star reviews on here. Seems a little fake if you ask me. Also the interior of these new Whataburger’s are so sterile and void of character.

Big shoutout to Rahatul, the manager. He is doing a fantastic job running the team and keeping everything running smoothly. You can tell he genuinely cares about both the customers and his staff. Every visit, the service has been fast, friendly, and consistent. The place has a nice modern look inside, plenty of seating, and the drive thru moves quickly even during rush hours. It is great having a Whataburger right here in Fulshear so there is no need to drive out further to the other whataburger. Keep it up Rahatul and team, you are setting the standard for what great customer service should look like!
- CJCourtney JonesOct 29, 20251.0This location sucks. Its not fast food its sit and wait 20 min in drive thu to get cold food. Management sucks and they got high scool kids in there cooking the food. Literally just drove off the drive thru.. Waiting 20 mins to get a taquito is wild. Its honestly worse than the one in front of walmart down the road and that one is trash. Pay 30+ dollars for 2 meals just for them to screw up the order. Then when you complain your the bad guy because someone else cant do there job. Id give zero stars but thats not an option oh well. Oh yea Google says the nickname for this location has been deemed "wait a burger". I won't be going back there thats for sure.
