It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Always Loud and Messy Inside with teenagers running around and we’re pouring water on each other, everytime we come to the DRIVE Thru it takes at least 15 minutes to get our food.

Sad to see such a great burger joint reduced to less than mediocre anything. No one at the front to take your order. Not one customer in the dining room. Have to order yourself on a screen. No cup anywhere to take as I ordered a drink. Had to lean over the counter to get my own. The fries are absolutely sorry. Straight to the trash. Trash all over the dining room floor. Dirty tables. No longer eating at any Whataburger.

I have been going to Whataburger for the past 35 plus years going back to my high school, junior high days. Sure was great back in those days.
Waited 16 minutes in the drive thru this evening. I live 4 miles away from the closest Whataburger from my house.
It was absolutely disgusting. The fries tasted like they were put in a microwave and I ordered a double with cheese no onions. Besides then sprinkling the top of the bun with onions, the meat also tasted like it had been sitting for days in addition to the burger being cold. Took two bites of the burger and had 3 fries and I was ready to commit. Absolutely disgusting.
What a shame, I will never go back to a Whataburger again!

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a Whataburger. No one is never behind the counter and after waiting for 3-5 minutes you have to stick your head around into the kitchen to get their attention. They finally come out and never greet you just ask what you want. After the transaction there is never a thank you or anything. They bring the food to you and you have to ask for ketchup that they never bring. The sad thing is the manager is always present. I would fire every employee here or send them to some type of trading school.

Service has dramatically improved with new leadership. I was greeted by a team member told that my food was still being made, and they got the food out in a very timely manner. Very impressive about how this restaurant has turned around! Still some ways to go though.
