I’ve ordered from True Barbecue multiple times—delivery orders—and every single time, my food arrives with no barbecue sauce. I even put it clearly in the special notes: “Please don’t forget the barbecue sauce.” Each time I call, I speak with employees or a manager. I get an apology. I’m told it won’t happen again. I’m told it will be fixed. And then it happens again. This is a barbecue restaurant. How does barbecue leave the building with no barbecue sauce? Once or twice is a mistake. Six times is a pattern. I was told this might be a corporate issue. It’s not. Corporate isn’t packing the bags. The responsibility lies with the people in that restaurant. There’s clearly a breakdown in attention to detail and follow-through. The food itself is good—but consistently missing a core item makes the entire experience frustrating and disappointing. I really want this place to do better, but after six times, it’s hard to keep giving chances.

- DADian AdamsDec 6, 20251.0Went for dinner but never got to eat! They were out of potatoes and some of their popular sides when we ordered. Disappointing, but we pivoted and did a meat plate. A few minutes into our wait, they are out of another side and another meat, hubby had to redo his order. A few more minutes and his order can't be completed at all! This is 6:30 on a Friday night! We chose to leave and asked to be refunded. Poor cashier was doing his best and did apologize. However, way too many distractions affected the level of customer service we should have gotten. The refund took 5 minutes to process, and I didn't get an apology from either of the 2 managers it took to complete it. Sad to say they lost a customer without us even being able to try their food.
