When I looked around, the employee was standing at a register talking with a coworker. I had to walk over and say, “Excuse me, I need help.” There was no apology for the wait. When I explained that an item didn’t ring up correctly even though I had a coupon, the employee didn’t bother to check it and simply voided the item. That resulted in a lost sale for the store. After voiding it, they just walked away without saying I was all set or even a simple “have a good day.” Basic customer service and sales awareness were completely lacking. Experiences like this are why businesses lose customers. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.
