Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

You better triple check you got your ranch or order correct because the number of times I’ve gone through this drive thru and my order has NOT been correct is astronomically high! I don’t normally leave bad reviews but I’m tired of paying for dipping sauce, and food I don’t get and frustratingly don’t realize till I have left the drive thru or gotten home. Having to either turn around or take the loss! Trust me! Go somewhere else!
- JSJason SmithDec 6, 20251.0I was very disappointed to see that Whataburger heats their cinnamon rolls in Styrofoam containers using a restaurant microwave, which is both unsafe and unacceptable. Regular Styrofoam is not microwave-safe and can release harmful chemicals like styrene when heated, especially with hot or greasy foods. This practice risks contaminating the food and shows a lack of attention to basic food-safety standards. For the health and safety of customers, Whataburger should switch to proper microwave-safe containers or use some other method of heating their cinnamon rolls immediately. Obviously someone in corporate is either ignorant of basic health standards in the 21st Century or doesn’t care about their customers’ health due to an insatiable desire for increased profits. The management team at this location did not care about the concerns listed in the above review. I can’t imagine what this has done to consumer health over the decades that they served this breakfast item in this way.
