Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Although very clean and prompt service , with very good & fresh fries , the quality of the burgers have declined quite a bit , and we're near tasteless compared to many others previously . The manager courteously ordered another alternate type burger for me , but with very minor improved results ... Just no taste to the beef at all . Not sure what a Chicago based investment firm knows about a once excellent Texas burger institution , but it's sure not heading the right direction .
- BBBirdieFeb 15, 20261.0I feel like this place is dirty, they also have an armed security officer here, I guess there’s a lot of crime , and we have to eat in hear with an armed officer, other Whataburger a don’t do this, I’m glad it’s for safety , but to Whataburger corporate I hope you have plenty insurance, if this security pulls out his weapon , and I hope you made sure he has insurance caring a weapon in a restaurant, I think all security companies should make their employees especially the armed officers pay a monthly fee for their own attorney in case they have to use their weapon , it’s not mandatory, but yr taking a risk if something happens
