- THTuTu H2 days ago1.0Ordered rib combo with the understanding from the server that it was enough for two adults (see photo). IT WAS NOT!!! It took forever to put our order in and an extremely long time to get our dishes. By the time that the food arrived, the food was cold. Some friends with me ordered shrimp and they said it was cold upon arrival and not seasoned.

Despite having six open booths, the host refused to seat us in one, insisting we sit at a cramped table in a high-traffic walkway. We were told we’d have to wait 10 minutes for a "table rotation" to get a booth—only to be seated in that exact same empty booth 5 minutes later. The service didn't improve. Our food runner was incredibly rude, dropping off plates without a word or a greeting. We had to hunt someone down for drink refills, and our salad never arrived. Halfway through our meal, our waitress finally appeared, surprised the steak had arrived so quickly. Even after pointing out the missing salad and asking for it to be removed from the bill, we were still charged the full $44.99 price. To top it off, the steak was over-seasoned. Steak does not need Ms. Dash all purpose seasoning, if it is cooked correctly. If you want a quality steak and better service, save your money and go to Texas Roadhouse instead. We will never go to a Salt Grass again.
